Exchange Your Guilt for Freedom...You Can be Set Free...Be Confident in Christ

Exchange Your Guilt for Freedom

Philippians 3:12

Satan delights in trying to make us feel guilt and condemnation over our past sins and imperfections. I know because I was plagued with these feelings for many years, until God helped me see that I did not need to be perfect to be forgiven. He let me know I was accomplishing nothing beneficial by feeling guilty.

When you repent and turn away from your sin, God does the rest – and He is more than enough. You do not need to add your guilt to His sacrifice. Complete forgiveness is completely free!

Even though you are not perfect, you can accept the forgiveness Jesus says is yours. Exchange your feelings of guilt and condemnation for His unconditional love and find complete and total freedom.

You Can Be Free

2 Corinthians 3:18

Everyone passes through different levels of God’s glory and obviously, we are not all at the same level at the same time. Therefore, you hinder the maturing process when you compare yourself with someone else and then feel as if you do not measure up. And this is just what the devil wants.

I call this the performance-acceptance syndrome, and if you want to be free, you must overcome it. You can do this by seeing yourself through God’s eyes. He sees you, as valuable, unique, and precious, and He loves you just as you are- imperfections and all.

If you are worn out from trying to be perfect, start enjoying being yourself and trust God to change you. He knows what He is doing and He will get the job done if you will just keep on believing.

Be Confident in Christ

Hebrews 13:5…...I will not in any way fail you

You are created by a great God for great things. But you will only see the fulfillment of your destiny by placing your confidence in Christ.

Satan works hard attempting to steal your confidence, but you must steadfastly resist him. If you will just remind yourself – and Satan – that it is Jesus who gives you confidence, you can overcome the devil’s evil plan.

Do not let insecurities and past failures steal your confidence. God says He will never leave you nor forsake you, so you must believe it and act on it.

Whatever you may be facing right now, remember God is able even when you are not. He loves you and will show himself strong even through your weakness. So just trust and believe.
