God Enables Us

Romans 1:5-6

God gives us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (see Isaiah 61:3). God gives us whatever we need to be victorious. Because He enables us, we credit Him for all the good things in our lives.

Get up today and do the best you can, and then let God do the rest. Don’t try to make mistakes, don’t try to fail; but when you do, repent and get things straight with God. If you need to apologize to somebody, go and apologize. Receive your forgiveness, and go on.

FW: I Love You Girl!

"Make Your Day Productive and Positive"

Today someone asked me if I liked you.
laughed, and I said,
That's funny!!  I freakin' LOVE   that chick!!   She's funny, caring, crazy as heck, sweet, beautiful, she's reading this email right now & I love her!!"

Send this to ten ladies you love!! &

I better be one!!!!

Be the kind of woman that when your feet hit the floor each morning
the devil says~~"Oh Crap, She's up!"

We Need Each Other

Identify Who You Are

1 Peter 3:11

Paul said, “I want to do what is right, but I can’t” (see Romans 7:15-25). He was a new person on the inside because he was born again, but he still had to resist the temptation to sin.

Paul explained that “the sin [principle]” (v.20) continues to dwell in us. We want to do right, but we don’t have the power to perform it, because evil is ever present to tempt us to do wrong. Only God can deliver us from this tendency to sin; that is why we must ask Him to deliver us from evil each day.

Enlarge Your Circle of Love

Matthew 18:19

We can dress up and look pretty on the outside, but God is more concerned about what is going on inside us. When we judge others by the way they look, we fall into the devil’s trap of rejecting everyone who does not appear to be like us.

Purposely enlarge your circle of love today. Seek ways to include others you may have previously overlooked. Ask God to help you enlarge your circle of love by taking in people of all types, colors, and backgrounds. Pray for eyes to see into people’s heart, and expect to enjoy a great day.

We Need Each Other

Matthew 18:19

We need each other in the body of Christ. Men and women need each other - denominations need each other. I believe that when we get to heaven, we will learn the truth about our differences. We will learn that all of us were right about some things and wrong about others.

But even the things we were right about won’t matter. God wants us to get along, to stop fighting with everyone over petty things we disagree about, and to begin to find the things we can agree about so that we may get along with one another. Practice looking for ways to agree with other believers and then watch what God does through the unity of faith.

Christ Is The Power

1 Corinthians 1:28-29

“But to those who are called …Christ [is] the Power of God and the Wisdom of God” (1 Corinthians 1:24). When God calls us to do something, He enables us to do it. Remember, God uses inadequate people to do important things because that way He gets the glory.

So if God calls you to do something today that seems too big for you to handle, Christ will give you the power and the wisdom that you need to do it. God has said to each of us, “My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

God Uses What Others Throw Away

God Uses What Others Throw Away

God purposely calls people to serve Him who don’t know how to do what He tells them to do. His tool chest is full of weak individuals who can’t seem to do things right, “cracked pots” whom the world treats with contempt (Corinthians 1:28).

But God knows that these individuals will depend on Him and will pray, “Lord, help me”, so that no mortal man should [have pretense for glorying and] boast in the presence of God” (1 Corinthians 1:19).

Qualify yourself for God’s tool chest today by telling someone what you have seen God do in your life.

112 on cellphone

This may be an Urban Legend, but I wanted to pass it along in case it is true...

Have a Wonderful Day!!

Some knew about the red light on cars,
but not the
It was about 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up

behind her and put his lights on. Lauren's parents have always told her never to

pull over for an unmarked car on the

side of the road, but rather to wait until

they get to a gas station, etc.

Lauren had actually listened to her

parents advice, and promptly called 112

on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away.

She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that

there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her.

The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she was and
there weren't, and he told her to keep

driving, remain calm and that he had

back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded

her and the unmarked car behind her. One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the

guy from the car and tackled him to the

ground. The man was a convicted rapist

and wanted for other crimes.
I never knew about the

Die to Sin

Acts 2:38

Dying to sin requires a daily commitment. We all have weaknesses, but that is why we need Jesus. He would have died for us in vain if we didn’t need Him. Each day we must ask Him to help us with our problems and our flaws.

He will save us from our sins, tempers, selfishness, jealousy, and greed. When we become Christians, our fleshly desire to sin doesn’t die in us, but Jesus will save us from our sins if we ask Him for strength to die to selfish desires and follow Him.

Light Shines Through Cracked Pots

Light Shines Through Cracked Pots

Psalm 69:6

Everyone is like a pot that carries life. But not everyone carries a presence that blesses others. Religion tries to force people to follow laws to make them perfect, like pots without cracks. But if a light is put within a flawless pot and then covered, no one is able to see the light inside the pot. Perfect pots are not able to reveal internal light to illumine the way for others.

God chooses to shine through imperfect, cracked pots. People are blessed when our cracked pots let the light of Jesus shine through. Choose to be a glory-filled, cracked pot rather than an empty, pretty vessel.

Humble Yourself

Humble Yourself

Philippians 2:5

Humility comes from brokenness; brokenness hurts so bad, but it “hurts good.”

Brokenness comes when we learn that we are not hotshots after all. Brokenness comes when we judge others, and then realize that we do the same things they do. Brokenness comes when we think we are going to step out and do something great, and then fall flat on our face because we forgot to stay plugged in to God.

Brokenness comes when we give our opinion, knowing that we are absolutely right to the point of arguing about it, and then find that we are wrong. Brokenness is good for us. Brokenness leads to humility, and humility precedes honor (Proverbs 15:33).

Be Exalted

Isaiah 2:11

None of us are where we need to be, but, thank God, we are not where we used to be. Don’t look at what you are going through right now; look at the person you are becoming. We are always in the process of becoming like Christ (see 2 Corinthians 3:18).

Brokenness hurts, but the alternative is much worse. The Word say, “Haughtiness comes before disaster, but humility before honor” (Proverbs 18:12). Pray to be bendable, pliable, and moldable so that you will be more like Christ in all that you do today. Pray to be broken so that the Lord may be exalted in your life.

A Precious Treasure

1 Corinthians 12:11

In 2 Corinthians 4:7, Paul says, “We possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.” God uses frail people (cracked pots!) to proclaim the power of His gospel.

He could send angels to preach the gospel, but He uses plain, ordinary, everyday people to demonstrate His power. He fills us with divine gifts, inspired and brought to pass by the Holy Spirit, and distributes them throughout His body of believers. Let us network with God’s people today for the greater good, as we work together to accomplish His purpose.

It Must Be God

Psalm 18:28

The Bible says that God works through our weakness so that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power in our lives may be shown to be from Him and not from ourselves (see 2 Corinthians 4:7). God uses ordinary people like us with flaws and cracks in our pots (our earthen vessels), so that people will know that it has to be God working in us if we are doing good works.

If people knew us before we trusted in Jesus, they especially notice the difference that a few years of walking with the Lord has made in our lives. We become totally different creatures when we allow His love to shine through our weaknesses. We may look the same, but we don’t act the same. We just ooze greatness. Let His glorious light shine through you all day.

Do Good

Do Good

Titus 3:8

What an awesome thing it is to be good to people. The Bible says that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and with strength, ability, and power; and that He went about doing good, for God was with Him (see Act 10:38). Jesus spent His days being good to people – all people. He helped and encouraged people everywhere He went.

We are anointed to bless people as Jesus did. God has given us the strength, ability, and power to do awesome works in His name. Do good all day- today.

Broken and Poured Out

Broken and Poured Out

Matthew 16:27

Be willing to give your best to the Lord, and He will use your gifts in ways beyond your imagination. The lady with the alabaster jar of perfume that was worth a year’s wages wanted to do something for Jesus because she loved Him. So she poured out the expensive perfume on Him, not realizing at the time that she was anointing Him for His burial (see Mark 14:1-9).

God led her to give what she had, no matter how costly. As you pour out the gifts God has given you, He will use them to prepare the world for the second coming of His son. Your obedience today will reap rewards in heaven that you are not aware of now.

Bless People

Galatians 5:13

As a believer in Jesus Christ, you have wonderful, wonderful gifts on the inside of you. You have the ability to make others happy today. You can encourage. You can edify. You can exhort and uplift. You can believe. You can pray. You can lead somebody else to Christ.

People don’t have to have desperate needs before we bless them. The Holy Spirit will lead us to be good to people every day, if we will be sensitive to His voice. Offer your gifts and talents to the Lord, and see what happens.

Two Boxes
(I hope I get this back. Please keep it going. This has been going since Dec. 1, 2000 ~ please send it on.)

God's Boxes

I have in my hands two boxes,
Which God gave me to hold.
He said, "Put all your sorrows in the black box,
And all your joys in the gold."

I heeded His words, and in the two boxes,
Both my joys and sorrows I stored,
But though the gold became heavier each day,
The black was as light as before.

With curiosity, I opened the black,
I wanted to find out why,
And I saw, in the base of the box, a hole,
Which my sorrows had fallen out by.

I showed the hole to God, and mused,
"I wonder where my sorrows could be!"
He smiled a gentle smile and said,
"My child, they're all here with me.."

I asked God, why He gave me the boxes,
Why the gold and the black with the hole?
"My child, the gold is for you to count your blessings,
The black is for you to let go."

We should consider all of our friends a blessing.
Send this to a friend today just to let them know you
are thinking of them and that they are a joy in your life.

A ball is a circle, no beginning, no end.
It keeps us together like our Circle of Friends.
But the treasure inside for you to see,
Is the treasure of friendship you've granted to me.

Today I pass the friendship ball to you.
Pass it on to someone who is a friend to you...

Okay, here goes, instantly when you receive this letter, you should send it to at least 10 people to brighten their day,
including the person who sent it to you.

FW: To a Strong Person

A strong person knows how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes, they still manage to say "I'm ok" with a smile. Send this to a strong person. I just did. God is good. Change is coming. God saw your sadness and said hard times are over. If you believe in Him, send this to ten people including me. Watch what happens in thirty minutes! Be honest and send this to anyone who made you smile this year.
It may surprise you how many you get back. Thanks for making me smile.

Live, Laugh, Love

Be encouraged

The moment you receive it, say:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,

Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil..
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory now and forever.  Amen..

It shall be well with you this coming year..
No matter how much your enemies try this year,

They will not succeed.
You have been destined to make it and you shall surely achieve all your goals this year...
For the remainder of 2011, all your agonies will
Be diverted and victory and prosperity will be incoming in abundance.  Today, God has confirmed the end of your sufferings, sorrows and pain because HE that sits on the throne has remembered you. He has taken away the hardships and given you JOY. He will never let you down.

I knocked at heaven's door this morning, God asked me.. My child! What can I do for you? And I said,
'Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message..'

It has never been broken. Within 48 hours send as
Many as you can - God does know if you don't have 20 people to send it to. It's the effort and intent that counts. To family and friends.
This is a powerful Prayer. Couldn't hurt. Can only help..Please do not break it...

Be Filled with God

Be Filled with God

Psalm 71:8

Consider again the verse from Ephesians 3:19: “That you may be………. A body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself!” Imagine what your day will be like if your body is wholly filled with God.  You will be a container, carrying God everywhere you go. It will affect your thoughts, emotions and actions. Being filled with the divine presence of God will change what you say, the entertainment you choose, and the people with whom you elect to spend time.

When we are born again, Jesus comes to live in us as a seed. Caring for that seed of new life by watering it with the Word, nurturing it through direction, and weeding out the sins in our lives makes the seed of His presence grow bigger and bigger until it fills our entire being.

Bearing Fruit

John 15:16

The Bible says that we are blessed if our confidence is in the Lord.  We will be like trees planted by the waters that continue to bear fruit (see Jeremiah 17:7-8).

I admit that sometimes, at the end of a day, we may feel that all of our fruit has been picked! But God will replenish us if we abide in Him. If we put our trust in God, we will bear all kinds of fruit, and will have fruit to share with others every morning.

Use the Keys

Psalm 34:10

Jesus said, “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bid (declare to be improper and unlawful) on earth must be what is already bound in heaven; and whatever you loose (declare lawful) on earth must be what is already loosed in heaven” (Matthew 16:19).

As a believer, you have authority to live a life of victory and to forbid the devil to torment you. It is not lawful for him to destroy you in heaven, so it is not lawful for him to destroy you during your days on earth. Use the keys of the kingdom of heaven that Jesus has passed to you. Loose God’s blessings upon your efforts and bind the evil works that come against the fruit of your labors today.

Brokenness Is Good

Psalm 17:7-8

David said, “Lord, I am like a broken vessel” (see Psalm 31:12) Brokenness seems bad, but through brokenness we rid ourselves of the outer shell, the fleshly parts of us, that need to be thrown off in order to bring forth the good things that are in us.

All of us need to be broken as David was; we need to be totally dependent on God to deliver us from evil. Pray today as David did: “But I trusted in, relied on, and was confident in you, O Lord; I said, You are my God” (Psalm 31:14).

RE: Read asap and let me know tomorrow

You have received this angel because you at some point in life have been an angel. No one saw your wings but they felt your love.

Let me know what happens to you the morning after you open this e-mail.
This is an unusual one.  It actually gives you a  time tomorrow.  Let's see if it works.

Forward this message the same day you received it.  It may sound ridiculous, but it is right on time.  We believe that something is about to happen.  Angels exist, only sometimes they haven't got wings and we call them friends; you are one of them.  Something wonderful is about to happen to you and your friends.  Tomorrow at 9:06 AM somebody will address you and tell you something you have been waiting to hear.

Please do not break this.   Send it to at least 7 of your friends!
