FW: Who is the Susie in your Life?

WET
PANTS

Come with me
to a third grade classroom..... There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of
a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and
the front of his pants are wet. He thinks his
heart is going to stop because he cannot
possibly imagine how this has happened. It's
never happened before, and he knows that when
the boys find out he will never hear the end of it. When the girls find out, they'll never speak to him again as long as he lives.

The boy believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his head down and prays this prayer, 'Dear God, this
is an emergency! I need help now! Five minutes
from now I'm dead meat.'

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been
discovered.

As the teacher is walking toward him, a class mate
named Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is
filled with water. Susie trips in front of the
teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water
in the boy's lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is
saying to himself, 'Thank you, Lord! Thank you,
Lord!'

Now all of a
sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule,
the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher
rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts
to put on while his pants dry out All the other
children are on their hands and knees cleaning
up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful.
But as life would have it, the ridicule that
should have been his has been transferred to
someone else -
Susie.

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out. You've done enough, you klutz!'

Finally, at the end of the day, as they are waiting for the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and whispers,
'You did that on purpose, didn't you?' Susie
whispers back, 'I wet my pants once too.'

May God help us see the opportunities that are always around us to do good..

Remember.....Just going to
church doesn't make you a Christian any more than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Each and
Everyone one of us is going through tough times right now, but God is getting ready to bless you in a way that only He can. Keep the faith.

My
instructions were to pick four (4) people that I
wanted God to bless, and I picked you. Please
pass this to at least four (4) people you want
to be blessed and a copy back to
me.

This prayer
is powerful, and prayer is one of the best gifts
we receive. There is no cost but a lot of
rewards. Let's continue to pray for one
another.

The
Prayer:

Father, I ask
You to bless my friends, relatives and those
that I care deeply for, who are reading this
right now. Show them a new revelation of Your
love and power. Holy Spirit, I ask You to
minister to their spirit at this very moment.
Where there is pain, give them Your peace and
mercy.. Where there is self-doubt, release a
renewed confidence through Your grace. Where
there is need, I ask you to fulfill their needs.
Bless their homes, families, finances, their
goings and their comings..
Amen.

(If the Lord
lays upon your heart to send this to more than four '4' people, you are truly
blessed
)

Triumph Over Troubles

Triumph Over Troubles

Romans 5:3

Some days it seems that everything goes wrong, one thing after another, after another. Don’t just talk to yourself, saying, “I just can’t take anymore of this.”

Don’t struggle with the same tests day after day; instead, talk back to the devil as Jesus did (see Like 4:1-13). If you feel your peace and joy slipping away, talk out loud to Satan. If he is trying to steal from you, say, “Forget it, devil; you are not getting me upset today!’

Relax your mind and humble your heart to focus on Christ. Allow God to be the only person on your mind while you read this prayer. If we can take the time to read long jokes, stories, etc., we should give the same respect to this prayer. Friends, who pray together, stay together.
If you pray this prayer,
change the number.

Dear Lord, I thank you for this day. I thank You for my being able to see and to hear this morning. I'm blessed because You are a forgiving God and an understanding God. You have done so much for me and You keep on blessing me. Forgive me this day for everything I have done, said or thought that was not pleasing to you. I ask now for Your forgiveness

Please keep me safe from all danger and harm. Help me to start this day with a new attitude and plenty of gratitude. Let me make the best of each day to clear my mind so that I can hear from You.

Let me not whine and whimper over things I have no control over. Let me continue to see sin through God's eyes and acknowledge it as evil. And when I sin, let me repent, and confess with my mouth my wrongdoing, and receive the forgiveness of God.

And when this world closes in on me, let me remember Jesus' example -- to slip away and find a quiet place to pray. It's the best response when I'm pushed beyond my limits. I know that when I can't pray, You listen to my heart. Continue to use me to do Your will.

Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others Keep me strong that I may help the weak.. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those who are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those who are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those who will delete this without sharing it with others. I pray for those who don't believe. But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly..

This is my prayer.
In Jesus' Name,

Amen.

Pass this message to other people except you and me (You can send it to other people if you would like, I did).

God will bless you. Know that you are already blessed by the person who sent this to you.

DON'T FORGET TO CHANGE THE NUMBER IN THE SUBJECT BOX.

Clean Up

Clean Up

6/14

Hebrews 12:1-2

Have you ever gone on a cleaning rampage to straighten up your home or office? Did you enjoy pitching junk, straightening objects, and organizing materials so that you could find them when you need them?

You may need to get on a Holy Ghost rampage and do the same thing with your life. Say. “I’ve had enough bondage. I’ve had enough negative thoughts. I’ve had enough of the lies of the devil. I am not going to have any more bad days. I am not going to be discouraged, depressed, or despondent. I am going to enjoy my life!”

A Higher Law

Love Is the Higher Law

6/7

Romans 13:10

There are things that we shouldn’t do simply because we love God, and because we don’t want to hurt somebody else’s conscience. We may have the freedom to do these things, but our freedom could offend others, or cause them to do something against their conscience, and thus sin against God.

If you walk in love today, there may be things that you have the right to do, but the Holy Spirit will prompt you not to exercise your right out of love for someone who is watching you. Love never demands its own way (see 1 Corinthians 13:5). Love is always the higher law.

Water and Sugar

This should probably be taped

to your bathroom mirror

where one could read it every day..

You may not realize it,

but it's 100% true.

1. There are at least two people in this world

that you would die for.

2.  At least 15 people in this world

love you in some way.

3. The only reason anyone would ever hate you

is because they want to

be just like you.

4. A smile from you can bring happiness to anyone,

even if they

don't

like you.

5. Every night,

SOMEONE thinks about you

before they go to sleep.

6. You mean the world to someone.

7. You are special and unique.

8. Someone that you don't even know exists loves you.

9. When you make the biggest mistake ever,

something good comes from it.

10. When you think the world

has turned its back on you

take another look.

11. Always remember the compliments you received..

Forget about the rude remarks.

So...........

If you are a loving friend,

send this to everyone,

including the one that sent it to you.

If you get it back, then they really do love you.

And always remember...

when

life hands you Lemons,

ask for Water
and Sugar and call me over!

Good friends are like stars.........

You don't always see them,

But you know they are always there..

"Whenever God Closes One Door

He Always Opens Another."

I would rather have one rose and a kind word

from a friend while I'm here

than a whole truck load when I'm gone..

Happiness keeps You Sweet,

Trials keep You Strong,

Sorrows keep You Human,

Failures keeps You Humble,

Success keeps You Glowing,

But Only

God keeps You Going.

Wear the Right Armor

Wear the Right Armor

1 Samuel 17:47

When David went out to face Goliath, everyone around him said, “David, you can’t do this!” But God put a sense of “knowing” within David that he would succeed in the name of the Lord. When King Saul decided to let David fight, he gave David his armor, but David said, “I cannot, because I am not used to this”

(see 1 Samuel 17:31-39). David knew he was to go in the name of the Lord with only his slingshot (see vv.40-50).

If you have battles to face in life, don’t let others tell you how to fight. God will personally direct you in the way you should go. His Word is your weapon; that is why it is a vital necessity to arm yourself with knowledge and to spend time in God’s presence before you have to face any giants.

God’s Plan Is Greater

Romans 8:2

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus sets us free from the law of sin and death. We are free from the law of sin and death only to the degree that we follow the law of the Spirit. If we know what is right but insist on doing wrong, our actions may still lead us to miss out on the abundant life God has for us on earth.

Follow the law of the Spirit, and you will remain completely free from the law of sin and death. The Holy Spirit will lead you into holiness, into righteousness, and into the complete destiny that God has for your life. God’s will for you is greater that anything you can imagine for yourself. Be willing to obey God even when you don’t understand what He is doing with you.

FW: START YOUR DAY RIGHT

Follow God’s Priorities

John 10:27

Many people try to feel spiritual by obeying religious laws. But they never get around to feeling good, because there is always one more law to follow. That is why God does not define our righteousness by our works, but by our faith in Jesus. We feel inner peace when we obey the voice of the Holy Spirit.

God may tell you that it is more important to give away your favorite personal possession, than to try to please Him by reading the Bible through in a year. He may say that it is more important to just remain silent, if He tells you to, than to volunteer for every activity at church. His ways are not our ways (see Isaiah 55:8-9), so learn to listen for His direction each day.

Have Fun

Romans 14: 17-19

Everything in your life doesn’t have to be serious in order to be spiritual. If you are filled with God’s spirit, whatever you do has a spiritual connotation to it. You can live a holy life, and still enjoy your day.

God measures holiness by how quick we are to obey His voice. He promises that goodness and mercy will follow us if we seek His presence (see Psalm 23:6). He may even encourage you just to have fun today.

Pamper Yourself

Psalm 42:5

God gave you your emotions, so it doesn’t work to ignore them completely. You make a big mistake if you refuse to meet any of your emotional needs. If you are tired, you need to rest. If you are stressed, you need some fun.

If you need encouragement, spend time with someone who knows how to build you up. Don’t ignore your emotional needs in the name of Christianity. You are a whole person – body, soul, and spirit (see 1 Thessalonians 5:23). God will show you how to be strong in all areas of your life.

Set Priorities

Psalm 139:16

Be determined to enjoy the abundant life that Jesus Christ desires for you to have. The devil will always try to set you up to get upset. The busy activities of today’s society can make life seem like a blur. Most people have a lot of stress, continuous pressure, and really too much to do.

Set priorities. Start your day with God. Be determined to follow His lead all day, and you will enjoy every day of your life - not just on weekends, vacations or sunny days when the weather’s perfect. Walking with God will give you pleasure and relaxation even when things aren’t going your way.

RE: : Strength

"Though no one can go back and make a brand new start,
anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending."

STRONG PERSON

A strong person knows how to keep their life in order. Even with tears in their eyes, they still manage to say "I'm ok" with a smile. Send this to a strong person. I just did. God is good. Change is coming. God saw your sadness and said hard times are over. If you believe in Him, send this to ten people including me. Watch what happens in thirty minutes! Be honest and send this to anyone who made you smile this year.
It may surprise you how many you get back. Thanks for making me smile.

To a beautiful friend

To a beautiful friend

This is not a joke; someone will call you by phone or will speak to you about something that you were waiting to hear.  Do not  break!

Send it to a  minimum of 3  people...   But Not  before you read below

There comes a  point in your life when you realize:

Who matters,
Who never did,
Who won't anymore...
And who always will.
So, don't worry  about people from your past,
There's a reason  why they didn't make it to your future.

Give these  flowers to everyone you don't want to lose in  2011
Including me, if that's what is in your heart.
Try to collect 5 ;  it's not easy!

Follow God’s Leading

Follow God's Leading

Proverbs 16:3

6/3

Trying to figure everything out before you obey God will steal your joy. God doesn't have to answer you when you ask, "Why God, why?" Trust means that you won't always have answers when you want them. Sometimes you just have to get to the other side of a situation to see the whole picture of what God is doing in your life.

God may be trying to separate you from some influence in your life that is keeping you from receiving the better plan He has for you. He may be "pruning" you to encourage new, healthier growth (see John 15:1-8). Use uncertain times to demonstrate your faith by trusting Him.

Let Disappointment Go

6/4

1 John 2:5

It can be disappointing when people who are close to us don't do what we would like for them to do. But if we really love them, we should encourage them to follow the Holy Spirit rather than try to keep us happy all the time.

Help others grow spiritually by encouraging them to listen for God's voice. Remind them that God will help them through mistakes and lead them to a good life. Soon they will be making spirit-led rather than people-led decisions.  It is tremendously gratifying to see loved ones mature spiritually in Christ.

The Law of the Spirit

6/5

Isaiah 12:2

Life is not just one long party; there will always be hard things and easy things mixed together in the events of your life. Regardless of what today brings, you can still have joy in the Lord, and that joy will give you strength to handle whatever comes your way on any given day.

When you follow Jesus, the law of the Spirit of life keeps you free to enjoy yourself because you can cast any burdens on the Lord (see Romans 8:2). God will lead you to know what to do, and He will energize you to do what needs to be done. You won't feel drained by life, but will grow through both the trials and the triumphs as you walk with God today.

Do What ever God Says

6/6

Romans 8:4

"In Him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:28). God is everything. Talk to Him all day long, every time you need to make a decision or overcome anything negative, Whatever He says to do, do it. If He says don't do it, don't do it. You don't belong to yourself; you belong to God.

Religious teaching tries to predetermine what God wants from you. But He will write on your heart what is good and what is bad for you to do. He will speak to your inner conscience and keep you safe, as long as you pay attention to His voice and do what He tells you. Throughout the day today, occasionally stop what you are doing and ask Him if there is anything He wants to say to you.

iron sharpens iron

Iron Sharpens Iron

Proverbs 27:17

If you want to do something for God, then don’t associate with people who do nothing. You may have to drastically change your life if you want to move on with what God has called you to do. Spend time with people who know how to use their days well.

Just as iron sharpens iron, positive people will inspire you to be positive. Godly people will inspire you to use your faith to do for the Lord what is in your heart to do. Spend time with people who are doing something for the Lord

Follow Your Heart’s Desires

Psalm 25:12-13

To enjoy your life, start following the God-given desires of your heart instead of the desires of your flesh. You may need to mature in faith before you can tell the difference between your flesh and Spirit-led desired.

One way to tell if you are following a desire of your flesh is that when you step out to do it, you will lose your peace and face a struggle. If it is not of God, you will feel like you are pushing a dead horse uphill. If it is a God-given desire of the Spirit, it will work like a well-oiled machine. It will flow, with what I call a “Holy ease.” Start your day right and follow your heart.

Get Peace From God

Be careful when somebody makes a suggestion that sounds good; not every good idea is a God-idea. Don’t rush into making a decision or accepting a new responsibility without praying about it first.

Slow down long enough to ask God for wisdom, and listen for his guidance. Take a little bit of time to see if you have peace about the idea. If you don’t have peace, you don’t even have to understand why you don’t have peace. Just don’t do it!

Quality Is Better than Quantity

Psalm 77:6

God cares more about the quality of what you learn than the quantity of teaching to which you are exposed. He would rather you read a scripture verse and get a revelation out of it than to read two whole books in the Bible and not have a clue about what you read.

Listen for key messages that the Lord is specifically speaking to you when you hear good teaching through television, radio, sermon tapes, a church service, or weekly Bible study. Ask God to show you how to apply what you hear to your own life. Medicate on His Word each day and look for ways to use what you have learned. Then you will know that you are engaging in and enjoying true quality time with Him.

Study Daily

1 Timothy 4:15

Second Timothy 2:15 says, “Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial), a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing [rightly] handling and skillfully teaching] the Word of Truth”.

It is difficult to grow if you don’t like to read the Word. If Satan has created obstacles to keep you from reading the Word, take authority over him. Declare your love for the Word, and then read it even if only a couple of pages a day. Your desire for more will quickly increase. If you truly don’t like to read, then pray that God will give you a brand new desire to do so right now.

Don't be Afraid to Stop

Proverbs 12:5

Don’t be ashamed to back off if you get out in the middle of something and find that God is not in it. Just be secure enough to simply say, “I thought this was God, but it’s not, so I am not going to do it anymore.

You can apologize to others if you caused them any trouble or confusion. But there is no shame in quickly admitting that you were wrong. It is more important not to perpetuate a mistake than it is to keep people from thinking you were wrong. Don’t be afraid to say, “I didn’t hear from God.” Honesty will keep your day going right, all day long.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

The Power of Integrity

http://www.joelosteen.com/SiteCollectionImages/Email/2009/Todaysword/double-divider-02.gif

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“The Lord judges the people; judge me, O Lord, and do me justice according to my righteousness [my rightness, justice, and right standing with You] and according to the integrity that is in me”
(Psalm 7:8, AMP)

http://www.joelosteen.com/SiteCollectionImages/Email/2009/Todaysword/divider-02.gif

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Integrity is a powerful attribute in the life of the believer. Integrity means that you are dependable. You are a person of your word. You’re consistent and honest.

You might say, “Oh, I’m a pretty good person. I do the right thing most of the time.” But understand, it’s the little foxes that spoil the vine. You can veer off course just a little bit, and before you know it, you’re miles away from your destination. Don’t allow the little things to keep you from your destiny; choose integrity — even when no one is looking. For instance, you might need some paper at home, but you shouldn’t take supplies from the office. Or, you might be running into a store for just a minute, but don’t park in the handicap parking spot unless you’re supposed to. If the checkout clerk makes a mistake and gives you too much money back, that’s not God’s provision, that’s a test of integrity!

Remember, if you’ll be faithful and choose integrity in the little things, God will make you ruler over much. Be a person of integrity and open the door for God’s blessing and honor all the days of your life!

http://www.joelosteen.com/SiteCollectionImages/Email/2009/Todaysword/divider-02.gif

Father God, today I commit to live a life of integrity. I choose a life of excellence and ask for Your hand of favor. Show me any area that is not pleasing to You so that I can continue to grow and increase in You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
