Enjoy Forgiveness

Enjoy Forgiveness

Psalm 32:2

If we aren’t living the way God has instructed us to live, we will be miserable until we confess our sins. Once we thoroughly get everything out in the open before the lord, He gives us the power to be set free from our sins: “BLESSED is he who has forgiveness of his transgression continually exercised upon him, whose sin is covered” (Psalm 32:1). The Word says that God desires truth in our inner being (see Psalm 51:6). So we need to be honest with ourselves and with God, if we want to enjoy the blessing of God’s forgiveness. Ask God to show you what needs to be changed in your life, and trust His forgiving power to continually bring about those changes in you.

YOU MAY THIS!!!

God Said NO!!

I hope that you can get the effects on your computers!
The words are great, but the movements of the faces add a lot....

I asked God to take away my habit...

God said, No.

It is not for me to take away,
but for you to give it up.

I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.

God said, No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary.

I asked God to grant me patience.

God said, No. Patience is a byproduct of tribulations;
it isn't granted, it is learned.

I asked God to give me happiness..

God said, No..

I give you blessings;
Happiness is up to you.

I asked God to spare me pain.

God said, No.
Suffering draws you apart from
worldly cares
and brings you closer to me.

I asked God to make my spirit grow..

God said, No.
You must grow on your own,
but I will prune you to make you fruitful.

I asked God for all things
that I might enjoy life.

God said, No.
I will give you life,
so that you may enjoy all things.

I asked God to help me LOVE others, as much as He loves me.

God said... Ahhhh,
finally you have the idea..

If you love God, send this to ten people and back to the person that sent it.

THIS DAY IS YOURS
DON'T THROW IT AWAY

May God Bless You,

'To the world you might be one person,
But to one person you just might be the world'

'May the Lord Bless you and keep you,
May the Lord Make his face shine upon you,
And give you Peace......Forever'

'Good friends are like stars...
You don't always see them, But you know they are always there.

START YOUR DAY RIGHT- Be Honest with God

Be Honest with God

2/15

Psalm 26:6-7

Each morning we need to come clean with God. If there is anything between us and God, when we try to pray and get into His presence, it will bother us until we deal honestly with it. God wants us to confess our faults. I have found over the years in a ministry of dealing with other people, and also in dealing with my own flesh that we don’t really like to confront wrongdoing as we should.  Most of us like to make excuses, but excuses keep us deceived. An excuse is a reason stuffed with a lie. The Bible says that the truth will set us free (john 8:32). Honesty with God will free us to enjoy our whole day.

The Weight of Worry

How wonderful that God personally cares about those things that worry us and prey upon our thoughts. He cares about them more than we care about them. Not a single nagging, aching, worrisome, stomach-tensing, blood-pressure-raising thought escapes His notice. (1Peter 5:7 )“You can throw the whole weight of your anxieties upon him, for you are his personal concern”.  Isn’t that Good? He genuinely cares. He is able to bear all the weight of your worry. Because you are His personal concern, you never disappear from His radar screen.

Receive Mercy

2/16

Psalm 25:10

The Israelites were lost in the wilderness because they didn’t believe that their problems were their own fault. They blamed Moses, God and everybody else for their sorrows. They refused to take responsibility for their sins, and their unwillingness to repent kept them from entering the Promised Land. When you talk with God, be sure to ask for forgiveness. “If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess our sins, He is faithful and just  (true to His own nature and promises) and [continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action]” 1 John 1:9. Repent in the morning to enjoy God’s mercy, forgiveness, and love all day.

The Way of the Righteous

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“...The righteous give generously”
(Psalm 37:21, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Did you know that when you give to others in need, the Bible says it’s like giving directly to God Himself? When you step out and bless other people, you are honoring and blessing the Lord. The scripture tells us to give our best, to give generously. In other words, stretch yourself. Go out of your way. It may be uncomfortable to walk over and pay for someone’s gas, but that’s being generous.

I encourage you today, look for ways to give generously and meet the needs of others. Remember, people have many different types of needs. There may be someone who needs some encouragement. Give generously when you give that encouragement. There may be someone in your life that just needs a friend; they need some quality time. Give generously of your time and pour into that person. As you give generously to others, God will multiply those seeds in your own life in return!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Heavenly Father, I come to You today giving all that I have to You. Open my eyes to the needs around me and show me how to be a blessing to others. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Chat with the Lord

Chat with the Lord

Dear God, This is my girl, my friend, my sister, whom I love and this is my prayer for her. Help her live her life to the fullest. Please promote her and cause her to excel above her expectations. Help her to shine in the darkest places where it is impossible to love. Protect her at all times, lift her up when she needs you the most and let her know when she walks with you, she will always be safe. I Love You Girl! Now you're on the clock . . .  In nine minutes something will make you happy :) But you have to tell nine sisters you love them, including me. Get going girl!!! Do not ask the Lord to guide your footsteps, if you are not willing to move your feet

Bless Somebody

Bless Somebody

2/14

Galatians 6:9

The Word says, “Let’s each one of us make it a practice to please (make happy) his neighbor for his good and for his true welfare, to edify him [to strengthen him and build him up spiritually]”.  (Romans 15:2).  This tells me that we need to have our mind full of ways to bless people. Early in the day, think up something you want to do to bless someone. Think up something you can do to surprise somebody or to make somebody happy. You will be amazed at how quickly the Lord leads you to something good you can do for someone. Joy comes from giving on His behalf.

Live Unselfishly

Live Unselfishly

2/15

Proverbs 11:26-27

I believe strongly in living a “giving lifestyle”. Joy comes in giving and reaching out to other people. We don’t need to be afraid of losing our goods or ending up with nothing, because the Word of God is true.  You will get joyful when you begin to think about how you can bless somebody else. Consecrate your gift to God, saying, “Lord, I give myself to You. I renew my vow, and my commitment to obey You. I want to stay strong in You, so I seek Your face. Bless me, and make me to be a blessing to others.”

Be Strong & Make Adjustments

Be Strong

2/5

Psalm 28:7-8

We can plan to be worn out before we ever feel tired. I used to expect to be totally wiped out physically and emotionally after my conferences. Then I prayed that as I poured energy and strength into obeying God, He would pour energy and strength back into me. The Bible says that giving is sowing a seed that will reap a harvest (Galatians 6:7-10) If we give our strength, we will reap God’s strength. We should expect a harvest of strength in our life, as we serve the Lord. He will anoint us with strength today, if we call on Him to do so.

Make Adjustments

2/6

2 Peter 1:5

Sometimes we have to make a few adjustments in our lifestyle to follow wisdom. We may have to say no to too much activity. Hebrews 11:1 teaches that faith is the assurance of things we do not see now. But, like God, we can call “those things that be not, as though they are”. This spiritual principle applies in the negative realm as well as in the positive realm. So we may need to make some adjustments to the things we say. If you feel that it is hard to get up in the morning, don’t say “I am too tired.” Get all of that weak, tired, wimpy, quitter; give up talk out of your vocabulary. Instead, say” Because the Lord is my strength, I can do whatever I need to do today.

Psalm 18:1-2

God can strengthen us to the point that we can make progress even during trouble. The psalmist said of God, “He makes my feet like hinds feet [able to stand firmly or make progress on the dangerous heights of testing and trouble]….. You have girded me with strength for the battle” (Psalm 18:33:39).

Trials and testing do not come to cause us to lose stability. They are opportunities to prove the strength of God. We don’t have to waver in our confidence. Nothing will keep us from making progress today because God is our strength.

 Let God Strengthen You

2/3

Psalm 119:28-29

We need to be strengthened and renewed on a daily basis. We need to be strengthened physically, mentally, and emotionally. We need to be strong so we do not fall apart every time we have to face some situation we had not planned on.

Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He expects us to develop stability in our lives. We can be strengthened and renewed by drawing strength from God, by exercising our faith, and by doing what He tells us to do.

Be Proactive

Be Proactive

Psalm 86:16

Jesus warned His disciples about all that He was to go through, because He knew it would be difficult for them too. He said, “Pray that you won’t be tempted” (see Matthew 6:13; 26:41). He didn’t say, “Wait to pray until you have been tempted, or until you have given in to temptation, or until you are up to your neck in sin and perversion!” Jesus teaches us to be proactive, which Webster defines as “acting in anticipation of future problems, needs, or changes.”

Many Israelites had already died from snake bites before the rest of them finally said; “Pray for us, Moses, for we have sinned” (see Numbers 21:4-9).  They should have recognized their need for God’s help much sooner than they did! Don’t wait until you are in trouble to see God. Ask Him to keep you from being tempted to sin today.

Don't Fall Apart

Don’t Fall Apart

2 Corinthians 12:9

Come apart and spend some time with God before you come apart. No matter how strong and healthy you are, no matter what your age is, no matter what you think you know, without God you are going to get weary and tired.

God doesn’t get tired, and the Word says He gives power to the faint and weary, and increases strength to those who have no might. But those who wait for the Lord, who expect, look for, and hope in Him, will be renewed (Isaiah 40:29-31).  God is willing to increase your strength. Get alone with Him anytime you need to be strengthened.

Do Things Well, Be a Person of Integrity, Do the Right Thing

Luke 19:17 – Do Things Well

Take pride in what God has given you.  You may be driving an old car, but that’s no excuse for not keeping it clean and neat.  Similarly, you may have an old small home, but make sure it looks like a person of excellence lives there.

God’s people are people of excellence.  They stand out from the crowd because they choose to do things well.  You may be in a situation today where everybody around you is compromising their integrity or taking the easy way out.  Don’t let that rub off on you.  Be the one to have an excellent spirit.  Do your work well, take care of the resources that God has given you, and live in such a manner that when people see you, they will be attracted to your God.

Luke 16:10 – Be a Person of Integrity

God wants us to be people of integrity, people of honor , people who are trustworthy.  A person of integrity is open and honest and true to his word.  He doesn’t have any hidden agendas or ulterior motives.  He doesn’t need a legal contract to force him to fulfill his commitments.  People of integrity are the same in private as they are in public.  They do what’s right whether anybody is watching or not.

God will only trust us with more after we have been faithful with a little.  Remember, our lives are an open book before God.  He looks at our hearts and motives.  There’s no limit to what God will do in your life when he knows He can trust you.

Song of Solomon 2:5 – Do the Right Thing

If you don’t have integrity, you will never reach your highest potential.  Integrity is the foundation on which a truly successful life is built.  Every time you compromise, every time you are less than honest, you are causing a slight crack in the foundation.  If you continue compromising, that foundation will never be able to hold what God wants to build.  You’ll never see the fullness of God’s favor if you don’t take the high road and make the more excellent choices.  On the other hand, God’s blessings will overtake us if we settle for nothing less than living with integrity.

Handfuls on Purpose

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God”
(Deuteronomy 28:2, ESV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

Our God is a rewarder of those who seek Him! When you keep God first place and do your best to honor Him, the Scripture says, “His blessings will chase you down and overtake you.” That means you will come into increase, promotion and good breaks that you didn’t necessarily deserve. That’s God rewarding you for walking in His ways.

We see this principle in the Old Testament with Ruth. She was out in the fields following behind the workers and gathering up the leftover wheat that they missed. She was trying to take care of her mother-in-law, Naomi, but they were barely surviving. One day, the owner of the fields told the workers to leave handfuls of wheat on purpose for Ruth. Ruth came into blessings that were simply dropped at her feet.

Every one of us can look back and see times where God has left us handfuls on purpose — something that we didn’t deserve or even ask for. We just stumbled into it. That’s a “handful on purpose.” I encourage you to always keep your expectancy up. Keep trusting God and obeying His voice because He is ready to bless you in unexpected ways today!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. I trust You as my Provider; You are the One who cares for me. I acknowledge You with my love and thank You for leaving me “handfuls on purpose” today! In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
