find Me in every situation...

I AM WITH YOU, watching over you constantly. I am Emmanuel (God with you); My Presence enfolds you in radiant Love. Nothing, including the brightest blessings and the darkest trials, can separate you from Me. Some of My children find Me more readily during dark times, when difficulties force them to depend on Me. Others feel closer to Me when their lives are filled with good things. They respond with thanksgiving and praise, thus opening wide the door to My Presence.

I know precisely what you need to draw nearer to Me. Go through each day looking for what I have prepared for you. Accept every event as My hand-tailored provision for your needs. When you view your life this way, the most reasonable response is to be thankful. Do not reject any of My gifts; find Me in every situation.

Matthew 1:23; Colossians 2:6-7

Sacred Space

TIME WITH ME cannot be rushed. When you are in a hurry, your mind flitters back and forth between Me and the tasks ahead of you. Push back the demands pressing in on you; create a safe space around you, a haven in which you can rest with Me.

I also desire this time of focused attention and I use it to bless you, strengthening and equipping you for the day ahead. Thus, spending time with Me is a wise investment. Bring Me the sacrifice of your precious time. This creates sacred space around you – space permeated with My Presence and My Peace.

Psalm 119:27; 2 Chronicles 16:9; Hebrews 13:15 (NKJV)

THE PEACE THAT I GIVE YOU transcends your intellect. When most of your mental energy goes into efforts to figure things out, you are unable to receive this glorious gift. I look into your mind and see thoughts spinning round and round; going nowhere, accomplishing nothing. All the while, My Peace hovers over you, searching for a place to land.

Be still in My Presence, inviting Me to control your thoughts. Let My Light soak into your mind and heart, until you are aglow with My very Being. This is the most effective way to receive My Peace.

2 Thessalonians 3:16; Job 22:21

I AM INVOLVED in each moment of your life. I have carefully mapped out every inch of your journey through this day, even though much of it may feel haphazard. Because the world is in a fallen condition, things always seem to be unraveling around the edges. Expect to find trouble in this day. At the same time, trust that My way is perfect, even in the midst of such messy imperfection.

Stay conscious of Me as you go through this day, remembering that I never leave your side. Let the Holy Spirit guide you step by step, protecting you from unnecessary trials and equipping you to get through whatever must be endured. As you trudge through the sludge of this fallen world, keep your mind in heavenly places with Me. Thus the Light of My Presence shines on you, giving you Peace and Joy that circumstances cannot touch.

Psalm 18:30; Isaiah 41:13

RELAX IN My HEALING, holy Presence. Be still, while I transform your heart and mind. Let go of cares and worries, so that you can receive My Peace, Cease striving, and know that I am God.

Do not be like the Pharisees who multiplied regulations, creating their own form of "godliness." They got so wrapped up in their own rules that they lost sight of Me. Even today, man-made rules about how to live the Christian life enslave many people. Their focus is on their performance, rather than on Me.

It is through knowing Me intimately that you become like Me. This requires spending time alone with Me. Let go, relax, be still, and know that I am God.

Psalm 46:10(NASB); 1 John 3:2

I thought you might enjoy this verse.

One who has my commandments, and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.

I am with you...

I, THE CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE, am with you and for you. What more could you need? When you feel some lack, it is because you are not connecting with Me at a deep level. I offer abundant Life; your part is to trust Me, refusing to worry about anything.

It is not so much adverse events that make you anxious as it is your thoughts about those events. Your mind engages in efforts to take control of a situation, to bring about the result you desire. Your thoughts close in on the problem like ravenous wolves. Determined to make things go your way, you forget that I am in charge of your life. The only remedy is to switch your focus from the problem to My Presence. Stop all your striving, and watch to see what I will do.  I am the Lord!

Romans 8:31-32; Micah 7:7

A Bible Inspiration For You: Matthew 5:16

I thought you might enjoy this verse.

Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Let go, and recognize that I am God

TRUST ME by relinquishing control into My hands. Let go, and recognize that I am God. This is My world: I made it and I control it. Yours is a responsive part in the litany of Love. I search among My children for receptivity to me. Guard well this gift that I have planted in your heart. Nurture it with the Light of My Presence.

When you bring Me prayer requests, lay out your concerns before Me. Speak to Me candidly; pour out your heart. Then thank Me for the answers that I have set into motion long before you can discern results. When your requests come to mind again, continue to thank Me for the answers that are on the way. If you keep on stating your concerns to Me, you will live in a state of tension. When you thank Me for how I am answering your prayers, your mind-set becomes much more positive. Thankful prayers keep your focus on My Presence and my promises.

Psalm 46:10 (AMP); Colossians 4:2; 2 Peter 1:3-4

Powerful words…….

IF YOU LEARN TO TRUST ME - really trust Me - with your whole being, then nothing can separate you from My Peace. Everything you endure can be put to good use by allowing it to train you in trusting Me. This is how you foil the works of evil, growing in grace through the very adversity that was meant to harm you; Joseph was a prime example of this divine reversal, declaring to his brothers: “you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.”

Do not fear what this day, or any day, may bring your way. Concentrate on trusting Me and on doing what needs to be done. Relax in My sovereignty, remembering that I go before you, as well as with you, into each day. Fear no evil, for I can bring good out of every situation you will ever encounter.

Genesis 50: 20 (NASB); Psalm 23:4

DO NOT SEARCH FOR SECURITY in the world you inhabit. You tend to make mental checklists of things you need to do in order to gain control of your life. If only you could check everything off your list, you could relax and be at peace. But the more your work to accomplish that goal, the more things crop up on your list. The harder you try, the more frustrated you become.

There is a better way to find security in this life. Instead of scrutinizing your check list, focus your attention on My Presence with you. This continual contact with Me will keep you in My Peace. Moreover, I will help you sort out what is important and what is not. What needs to be done now and what does not. Fix your eyes not on what is seen (your circumstances), but on what is unseen (My Presence).

Isaiah 26:3 (NKJV); 2 Corinthians 4:18

MEET ME IN MORNING STILLNESS, while the earth is fresh with the dew of My Presence, Worship Me in the beauty of holiness. Sing love songs to My holy Name. As you give yourself to Me, My Spirit swells within you till you are flooded with divine Presence.

The world’s way of pursuing riches is grasping and hoarding. You attain My riches by letting go and giving. The more you give yourself to Me and my ways, the more I fill you with inexpressible, heavenly Joy.

Psalm 29:2 (NKJV); 1 Peter 1:8

God is never too busy for us

Read: Matthew 10:29-31 <;version=NIV>

Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right."  - Acts 10:34-35

Audio:  Matthew 10 <>

Bible In One Year:  1 Kings 12-13; Luke
22:1-20 <;search=1+Kings+12-13%3b+Luke+22%3a1-20>

My brother-in-law had quit a job he had held for more than 20 years and was looking for another one. I told him I would pray for him, but he told me not to "bother" God, who had bigger problems to take care of. I told him that God yearns to be "bothered." God wants us pray about anything - not just the big stuff, but all the stuff. I'm thankful that "too busy" or "that's not important enough for me to deal with" aren't among God's responses.

Imagine God saying, "Can we reschedule that for next week? And instead of an hour, I can give you only 30 minutes - things are a bit hectic, what with the wars and the economic crises." Do you think God is more apt to listen to the prayers of church leaders, the president, or world dignitaries because of who they are or the magnitude of their problems or responsibilities? Acts 10: 34 says God "does not show favoritism."

No matter where we stand on the metaphorical ladder of importance, God listens to all of us with the same passion and concern and love. You and I always have a standing appointment with God. So we can go ahead and tell God what's on our mind. We can "bother" God, who's always waiting to hear from us.  God is never too busy for us; are we too busy for God?

DO NOT RESIST OR RUN from the difficulties in your life. These problems are not random mistakes; they are hand-tailored blessings designed for your benefit and growth. Embrace all the circumstances that I allow in your life, trusting Me to bring good out of them. View problems as opportunities to rely more fully on Me.

When you start to feel stressed, let those feelings alert you to your need for Me. Thus, your needs become doorways to deep dependence on Me and increasing intimacy between us. Although self-sufficiency is acclaimed in the world, reliance on Me produces abundant living in My kingdom. Thank Me for the difficulties in your life, since they provide protection from the idolatry of self-reliance.

John 15:5; 2 Corinthians 1:8-9; Ephesians 5:20

THANK ME FOR YOUR PROBLEMS. As soon as your mind gets snagged on a difficulty, bring it to me with thanksgiving. Then ask Me to show you My way to handle the situation. The very act of thanking Me releases your mind from its negative focus. As you turn your attention to Me, the problem fades in significance and loses its power to trip you up. Together we can deal with the situation, either facing it head-on or putting it aside for later consideration.

Most of the situations that entangle your mind are not today’s concerns; you have borrowed them from tomorrow. In this case, I lift the problem out of today and deposit it in the future, where it is veiled from your eyes. In its place I give you My Peace, which flows freely from My Presence.

Philippians 4:6; John 14:27

LEARN TO RELATE to others through My Love rather than yours. Your human love is ever so limited, full of flaws and manipulation. My loving Presence, which always enfolds you, is available to bless others as well as you. Instead of trying harder to help people through your own paltry supplies, become aware of My unlimited supply, which is accessible to you continually. Let My Love envelop your outreach to other people.

Many of My precious children have fallen prey to burnout. A better description of their condition might be “drain out.”  Countless interactions with needy people have drained them, without their conscious awareness. You are among these weary ones, who are like wounded soldiers needing R&R. Take time to rest in the Love-Light of My Presence. I will gradually restore to you the energy that you have lost over the years. Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and you will find rest for your souls.

Exodus 33:14; Matthew 11:28-29

Have a great weekendJ

COME TO ME WITH A THANKFUL HEART, so that you can enjoy My Presence. This is the day that I have made. I want you to rejoice today, refusing to worry about tomorrow. Search for all that I have prepared for you, anticipating abundant blessings and accepting difficulties as they come. I can weave miracles into the most mundane day if you keep your focus on Me.

Come to Me with all your needs, knowing that My glorious riches are a more-than-adequate supply. Stay in continual communication with Me, so that you can live above your circumstances even while you are in the midst of them. Present your requests to Me with thanksgiving, and My Peace, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your heart and mind.

Thanks for being a Vitamin F!!

 Vitamin F....
I loved this and wanted to share it with you...

Why do I have a variety of friends who are all so different in

character?  How can I get along with them all?  I think that each

one helps to bring out a "different" part of me.

With one of them I am polite. With another, I joke.
I sit down and talk about serious matters with one.
With another I laugh a lot.
I listen to one friend's problems.
Then I listen to another one's advice for me.
My friends are like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle.
When completed, they form a treasure box.
A treasure of friends!
They are my friends who understand me better than I

understand myself.
They're friends who support me through good days and bad.
We all pray for each other.
Real Age doctors tell us that friends are good for our health.

Dr. Oz calls them Vitamin F (for Friends) and counts the

benefits of friends as essential to our well being. Research

shows that people in strong social circles have less risk of

depression and terminal strokes. If you enjoy Vitamin F

constantly you can be up to 30 years younger than your real

age. The warmth of friendship stops stress and even in your

most intense moments, it decreases the chance of a cardiac

arrest or stroke by 50%.

I'm so happy that I have a stock of Vitamin F!

In summary, we should value our friends and keep in touch

with them. We should try to see the funny side of things and

laugh together and pray for each other in the tough moments.
Thank you for being one of my Vitamins!

Love Ya!

YOU ARE ON THE PATH of My choosing. There is no randomness about your life. Here and Now comprise the coordinates of your daily life. Most people let their moments slip through their fingers, half-lived. They avoid the present by worrying about the future or longing for a better time and place. They forget that they are creatures who are subject to the limitations of time and space. They forget their Creator, who walks with them only in the present.

Every moment is alive with My glorious Presence, to those whose hearts are intimately connected with Mine. As you give yourself more and more to a life of constant communion with Me, you will find that you simply have no time for worry. Thus, you are freed to let My Spirit direct your steps, enabling you to walk along the path of Peace.

Like 12:25-26; Luke 1:79

LIVING IN DEPENDENCE ON ME is the way to enjoy abundant life. You are learning to appreciate tough times, because they amplify your awareness of My Presence. Tasks that you used to dread are becoming rich opportunities to enjoy My closeness. When you feel tired, you remember that I am your Strength; you take pleasure in leaning on Me. I am pleased by your tendency to turn to Me more and more frequently, especially when you are alone.

When you are with other people, you often lose sight of My Presence. Your fear of displeasing people puts you in bondage to them, and they become your primary focus. When you realize this has happened, whisper My Name; this tiny act of trust brings Me to the forefront of your consciousness, where I belong. As you bask in the blessing of My nearness, My life can flow through you to others. This is abundant life!

I can hit the golf ball any way I can and laugh  if it goes in the lake. Them's the breaks. I'm just happy I  can still hit that golf ball.

I  am forwarding this to those on my Seniors email list because  it is so well written. Please send back. ( I did ) It's neat.  Don't delete this one, you'll laugh when you see the return  message.

As  I've aged, I've become kinder to myself, and less critical of  myself. I've become my own friend.

I  have seen too many dear friends leave this world, too soon;  before they understood the great freedom that comes with  aging.

Whose  business is it, if I choose to read, or play, on the computer,  until 4 AM, or sleep until noon? I will dance with myself to  those wonderful tunes of the 50, 60 & 70's, and if I, at  the same time, wish to weep over a lost love, I will.

I  will walk the beach, in a swim suit that is stretched over a  bulging body, and will dive into the waves, with abandon, if I  choose to, despite the pitying glances from the jet set. They,  too, will get old.

I  know I am sometimes forgetful. But there again, some of life  is just as well forgotten. And, I eventually remember the  important things.

Sure,  over the years, my heart has been broken. How can your heart  not break, when you lose a loved one, or when a child suffers,  or even when somebody's beloved pet gets hit by a car? But,  broken hearts are what give us strength, and understanding,  and compassion. A heart never broken, is pristine, and  sterile, and will never know the joy of being imperfect.

I  am so blessed to have lived long enough to have my hair  turning gray, and to have my youthful laughs be forever etched  into deep grooves on my face.

So  many have never laughed, and so many have died before their  hair could turn silver.

As  you get older, it is easier to be positive. You care less  about what other people think. I don't question myself  anymore. I've even earned the right to be wrong.

So,  to answer your question, I like being old. It has set me free.  I like the person I have become. I am not going to live  forever, but while I am still here, I will not waste time  lamenting what could have been, or worrying about what will  be. And I shall eat dessert every single day (if I feel like  it).

Forward  this to at least 7 people, and see what happens on your  screen..

You  will laugh your head off!!!!!!!!!!!

Seek My Face

SEEK MY FACE and you will find more than you ever dreamed possible. Let Me displace worry at the center of your being.  I am like a supersaturated cloud, showering Peace into the pool of your mind. My Nature is to bless. Your nature is to receive with thanksgiving. This is a true fit, designed before the foundation of the world. Glorify Me by receiving My blessings gratefully.

I am the goal of all your searching. When you seek Me, you find Me and are satisfied. When lesser goals capture your attention, I fade into the background of your life. I am still there, watching and waiting; but you function as if you were alone. Actually, My Light shines on every situation you will ever face. Live radiantly by expanding your focus to include Me in all your moments. Let nothing dampen your search for Me.

Psalm 27:8 (NKJV); Philippians 4:7 (MSG); Jeremiah 29:13
