The Grace of God

The Grace of God

 

Romans 9:17

If you want victory over something, prepare yourself to work at it. But it is not a matter of depending on yourself or winning at life through your own determination. God gives us grace to do good works. But grace doesn’t mean that our human flesh gets a free ride while we just lie down and go to sleep.

 

You are made for good works, to be a servant of righteousness. You are built to take responsibility, and God will help you accomplish all He gives you to do. He sets you free from the bondage of sin so that you can conform to His divine will  though purpose, and action (see Romans 6:18). Victory is achieved through God’s grace, but you have to choose to trust Him every step of the way.
