God is so faithful, he hears your heart when words aren’t even spoken

Speak a Blessing into Your Life

Isaiah 65:16….He who invokes a blessing on himself…shall do so by saying, May the God of truth and fidelity….bless me.

You can bless or curse yourself with your mouth. You can bring a blessing by speaking positive truths from God's Word….or you can bring a curse by speaking negatively.

Satan is a deceiver and He tries to bring you trouble and then influence you to prophesy that same kind of trouble for your future. But you can choose to bless yourself. If you mentally stop living in the past, you can begin to think and speak in agreement with God.

Take notice of the things you say, because what you say does matter – to you and to your well-being. Say what you believe Jesus would say in your situation, and you will open the door for the miracle-working power of God.

Live the Good Life

Ephesians 2:10

The heart of God is a father's heart and He wants you to take full advantage of the good life that He prearranged for you. Yet many Christians settle for less than God's best for their lives because they listen to the devil's lies.

The devil tries to convince you that you have made too many serious mistakes in the past and disobeyed God too many times to live the good life. But this is not true.

We all make mistakes, but God still loves us, and when you repent He is quick to forgive you and lead you back to the right path.

God has provided the best…and you might as well have it!

Bend Before You Break

Romans 12:16, 18…..readily adjust yourself

You live in a fast – paced world that seems to be placing more demands on you with each passing year. People are hurrying everywhere, and often they are rude and short-tempered. It seems the very atmosphere of the world is charged with stress and pressure.

But the good news is that as a Christian, you do not have to operate on the world's system, reacting like the world. The world responds to difficulties by getting upset, but Jesus said in John 14:27 that you should stop allowing yourself to be agitated, disturbed, and upset. You do this by learning to be adaptable. It is not always easy on the flesh to give in and do things differently, but it is easier than being upset and miserable.

Learn to bend so you will not break. Allow God's spirit to lead you out of a stressful lifestyle into one of peace and joy.

Practical Ways for Your Days

Deuteronomy 5:29

God's word offers wise instructions about how to make the practice of peace a part of your everyday life.

First of all, you need to hush. Be still and stop all the rushing around. "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 45:10). The creator of the universe wants a word with you, but how can He really talk to you if you are always on the go? Chill….and listen!

Second, you must prepare your heart to receive Him and to hear His voice on a regular basis. This requires a reverent fear of God and obedience to His commandments.

Finally, you must acknowledge Him in everything you do. Make it a lifestyle to be identified with Jesus Christ and faithfully be a doer of the Word. The rewards are great!

Be Fruitful for God

Colossians 1:9-10

We live in a busy world….and most of us are far too busy. God never told you to be busy, but He says a lot in His Word about being fruitful. One of His first instructions to Adam and Eve was to be fruitful and multiply. And Genesis 8:17 record the same commandment to Noah. To multiply means to "increase".

God wants you to increase by working with what you have. He supplies you with many seeds- gifts and talents – but you must cultivate and use them.

God has planted some great things in you, and as you water and nourish what He has planted, He will give the increase. So work with Him. You are a special person, uniquely called to bear fruit as only you can do.

Overcome Evil with Good

Romans 12:21…do not let yourself be overcome by evil

As a Christian, you can resist the enemy and overcome evil by having an aggressive, power-packed attitude. You can release positive spiritual power that will always conquer negative power. But it does not happen automatically. You must take a spiritually aggressive position and stand your ground.

Dealing with people requires a different approach, however. You are to treat people with dignity, respect, and love. For myself, I had to learn how to be a "lion-hearted lamb" – spiritually strong in dealing with the enemy and meek and gentle in dealing with people.

Being good to people will require that you walk in love, which is an effort that always costs you something. But people who are spiritually powerful always walk in love. It is God's way of overcoming evil with good. And it is well worth the effort.

Be a good Example

Titus 2:1…teach what is fitting and becoming to sound doctrine

Being a Christian is not so much a matter of doing as it is of being. When you are willing to get out there and shine, you will eventually swallow up the darkness in your realm of influence.

God anoints normal, everyday people to live supernaturally in a frustrating world. He wants you to be a doer of the Word and not a hearer only. He wants you to stop just telling people Jesus loves them and start letting Jesus flow through you to meet their needs.

The best way to show the love of Christ is by example. People in the world want to see Christians who live what they preach and teach.

You can be a shining example of a victorious Christian, and that is the best way to "teach what is fitting".
