Exercise Moderation

Exercise Moderation

1 Corinthians 9:27

The holidays are upon us again! From the traditional American observation of Thanksgiving and the celebration of our Savior’s birth to the first day of the brand-new year, the holidays present us with many opportunities to celebrate….and to eat.

For many who tend to overeat and gain weight, it can be a challenging time. But it does not have to be that way. With God’s help, you can discipline yourself instead of giving in to all your food desires.

I am not suggesting you stay away from the Thanksgiving dinner, the Christmas Brunch, or the New Year’s gathering. It is not necessary to sacrifice all your seasonal favorites, but it is important to exercise moderation. Pray and ask God to help you focus on the season instead of the food….and receive a double blessing.
