SLOW DANCE

Slow
Dance

This
is a poem
written by a
teenager with cancer.

She wants to
See how many
people get her poem.

It is quite the poem
Please pass it
on.

This

poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a
New York

Hospital.

It was sent
by

a medical doctor -
Make sure to read what is in the closing statement
AFTER THE
POEM.

SLOW DANCE

Have you ever
watched
kids

On a merry-go-round?

Or listened to
the
rain

Slapping on the ground?

Ever followed a

butterfly's erratic flight?

Or gazed at the sun into the
fading
night?

You better slow down.

Don't
dance so
fast.

Time is short.

The music
won't
last.

Do you run through each day

On
the
fly?

When you ask How are you?

Do you hear
the
reply?

When the day is done

Do you lie
in your
bed

With the next hundred chores

Running through
your head?

You'd better
slow down

Don't dance so
fast.

Time is
short.

The music won't
last.

Ever told your
child,

We'll do it
tomorrow?

And in your
haste,

Not   see
his
sorrow?

Ever lost
touch,

Let  a  good
Friendship die

Cause you
never had time

To call
and say,'Hi'

You'd
better slow down.

Don't dance
so fast.

Time
is short.

The music won't
last..

When you run
so fast to get somewhere

You
miss half the fun of getting
there.

When you worry and hurry
through your
day,

It is like an unopened
gift....

Thrown
away.

Life is not a
race.

Do take it
slower

Hear the
music

Before the song is
over.

Dear All:
PLEASE pass this mail on to everyone you know -
even to those you don't
know! It is the request of a special girl who will soon
leave this world

due to cancer.

This young girl has 6 months left
to live,

and as her dying wish, she wanted to send a letter telling everyone to

live their life to the fullest, since she never will.

She'll
never make it to prom, graduate from high school,
or get married and have a
family of her own.

By you sending
this to as many people as
possible, you can give her and her family a
little hope, because with every name
that this is sent to, The American
Cancer Society will donate 3 cents per name
to her treatment and recovery
plan. One guy sent this to 500 people! So I know
that we can at least send
it to 5 or 6. It's
not even your money, just
your
time!

PLEASE PASS ON AS A LAST REQUEST.

FW: SO POWERFUL!!!! SO TRUE!!!

I'll never forget a double date that Martie and I had with another couple in college. I was driving, which meant that my then fiancée, Martie, was in the front with me while the other couple was sitting in the back. My friend in the back was an All-American pitcher for our college baseball team, and he was engaged to a popular co-ed on campus.

As we rode along, our group conversation eventually dropped off and Martie and I thought we heard soft singing coming from the backseat. I could hardly believe it! This macho athlete was actually serenading his girlfriend! This guy had it bad - he had a "heart condition" that needed to be expressed!

We all have "heart conditions." They're those deeply rooted thoughts and feelings that ultimately show up in our words. Which makes our tongues the tattletales of the true condition of our heart. As Jesus said, "Out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks."

When we have love in our hearts, our words are kind and gentle; they build up and encourage. Humble hearts speak about what is best for others and willingly admit and apologize for being wrong. Patient hearts are slow to respond to moments of stress, and God-honoring hearts look for opportunities to give God the glory and praise for all He has done. You can tell a lot about a person by what they say-and what they don't say.

But it's not just good hearts that show up in our words. Unfortunately for most of us, our words often reveal the dark side of our hearts as well. As James 3:10 tells us, "Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing." Proud hearts love to boast about accomplishments and are willing to use words to put others down to lift ourselves up.

Angry hearts vent through our mouths, and fearful hearts often lash out verbally for self-protection and defense. Self-centered hearts turn conversations back toward us. And when your heart feels slighted, you will find that murmuring and complaining are on the tip of your tongue.

As my pastor friend James MacDonald says, "You know a lot about a person by listening to what spills out when they are bumped!" How true. Next time you speak, listen to your words - they are telling on your heart!  And if you don't like the kind of secrets that your words are giving away, then listen to what you've said so that you can know what needs to be fixed on the inside.

And fixing the inside may just mean that you turn over the control of your heart to the Holy Spirit. When you do that, pride, anger, fear, self-centeredness, bitterness, and all the other demons of your haunted heart will be chased away by the love, joy, peace, and patience that only the Spirit can bring (Galatians 5:22-23).

Pay attention to the words that get you into trouble, and you'll be able to identify and deal with the sin that is at the heart of the matter. After all, all talk is heart talk.

Hold your peace...

                                                                                                                        STAY CALM

Fear not; stand still (firm, confident, undismayed) and see the salvation of the Lord which He will work for you today…..

The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.  EXODUS 14:13, 14

When troubled times come our way, one of our biggest challenges is to stay calm.  Our natural tendencies are to fear, to worry, and to try to do something to fix the situation or solve the problem.  But we must learn to get our emotions under control so we can think clearly, act wisely, and pray in faith.

Moses often had to help the Israelites calm down.  When Pharaoh’s army was gaining ground on them, they kept running, but knew they were headed straight into the Red Sea.  Death seemed certain!  Exodus tells us the people were frightened and angry with Moses, and they decided they would have been better off as slaves to the Egyptians than trying to out run Pharaoh’s forces.

Moses was saying in today’s Scripture, “Stop It!  I know the situation looks hopeless, but don’t be afraid.  Just be still for a minute and watch what God is going to do for you.”

Before Pharaoh’s army reached the Israeli ties, God rolled back the waters of the Red Sea so His people could cross over on dry land.  When they were all on the other side, the sea closed again and Pharaoh’s fighters drowned.  This same miracle-working God is on your side today.  He still fights for His people.  Your job, if you belong to Him, is simply to “hold your peace and remain at rest.”

Love God Today: “Lord, I will not fear.  I will stand still, stay calm, and watch what You will do on my behalf.”

THANK ME THROUGHOUT THIS DAY

THANK ME THROUGHOUT THIS DAY for My Presence and My Peace.  These are gifts of supernatural proportions.  Ever since the resurrection, I have comforted My followers with these messages: Peace be with you,  and I am with you always.  Listen as I offer you My Peace and Presence in full measure.  The best way to receive these glorious gifts is to thank Me for them.

It is impossible to spend too much time thanking and praising Me.  I created you first and foremost to glorify Me.  Thanksgiving and praise put you in proper relationship with Me, Opening the way for My riches to flow into you.  As you thank Me for My Presence and Peace, you appropriate My richest gifts.

                                                                                                LUKE 24:36  MATTHEW 28:20  HEBREWS 13:15

FOCUS YOUR ENTIRE BEING ...

FOCUS YOUR ENTIRE BEING on My living Presence.  I am most assuredly with you, enveloping you in My Love and Peace.  While you relax in My Presence, I am molding your mind and cleansing your heart.  I am recreating you into the one I designed you to be.

As you move from stillness into the activities of your day, do not relinquish your attentiveness to Me.  If something troubles you, talk it over with Me.  If you get bored with what you are doing, fill the time with prayers and praise.  When someone irritates you, don’t let your thoughts linger on that person’s faults.  Gently nudge your mind back to Me.  Every moment is precious if you keep your focus on Me.  Any day can be a good day, because My Presence permeates all time.

LEARN TO APPRECIATE difficult days...

LEARN TO APPRECIATE difficult days.  Be simulated by the challenges you encounter along your way.  As you journey through rough terrain with Me, gain confidence from your knowledge that together we can handle anything.  This knowledge is comprised of three parts: your relationship with Me, promises in the Bible, and past experiences of coping successfully during hard times.

Look back on your life, and see how I have helped you through difficult days.  If you are tempted to think, “yes, but that was then, and this is now”, remember who I AM!  Although you and your circumstances may change dramatically, I remain the same throughout time and eternity.  This is the basis of your confidence.  In My Presence you live and move and have your being.

                                                                                                            ISAIAH 41:10;  PSALM 102:27;  ACTS 17:28

LEAVE OUTCOMES UP TO ME

LEAVE OUTCOMES UP TO ME. Follow Me wherever I lead, without worrying about how it will all turn out.  Think of your life as an adventure, with Me as your Guide and Companion.  Live in the now, concentrating on staying in step with Me.  When our path leads to a cliff, be willing to climb it with My help.  When we come to a resting place, take time to be refreshed in My presence.  Enjoy the rhythm of life lived close to Me.

You already know the ultimate destination of your journey: your entrance into heaven.  So keep your focus on the path just before you, leaving outcomes up to me.

We are to reign in life as kings

Empowered To Reign & Rest

I DECLARE I will live victoriously.  I was created in the image of God.  I have the DNA of a winner.  I am wearing a crown of favor.  Royal blood flows through my veins.  I am the head, never the tail, above never beneath.  I will live with purpose, passion, and praise, knowing that I was destined to live in victory.

This is my declaration.

It says in Romans 5:17, "We are to reign in life as kings."  When God looks at us He doesn't see us defeated, barely getting by, or just taking the leftover positions.  Not at all.  God see you as a king.  He sees you as a queen.  You have His royal blood flowing through your veins.  You and I are supposed to reign in life.

Do you know what that word reign means?  It means, "time in power."  God said we're to reign how long?  In life.  That means as long as you're alive that is your time in power.  You don't have a two-year term like a mayor, or a four-year term like a president.  Your term is to reign every single day, to be victorious, to rise to new levels, to accomplish great things.

And on those days where you don't feel like a king, or you don't feel like a queen, just remember to reach down and check your pulse, and as long as you feel something beating you can say, "What do you know?  It's still my time to reign."  Let that be a reminder to put on a new attitude.  And sometimes you have to do this by faith.  You may not feel victorious.  It may not look like you're blessed.  But like that saying, "You've got to fake it until you make it."

By faith you need to walk like a king, talk like a king, think like a king, dress like a king, smile like a king.  Don't go by what you see.  Go by what you know.  There is royalty in your DNA.  You have the blood of a winner.  You were created to reign in life.  Too many people are living below their privileges.  It's because their vision has been clouded by past mistakes, disappointments or how they were raised.

They don't feel like royalty.  They don't think they could be successful and really accomplish what God has put in their hearts.  But believe today, as you speak faith, something is happening on the inside.  Now seeds are taking root, strongholds that may have kept you back for years, even right now, are being broken.  You need to rise up and say, "That's it.  I'm not settling where I am.  I know it's still my time of power.

Yes, I may have taken a break for a little while but I've got an announcement.  I'm back.  I am stepping up to who God created me to be."

Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this ! Interesting.......

Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why do people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor - Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys, it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement! I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water... Very Important.

From A Cardiac Specialist!

Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body:
2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs
1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion
1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure
1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack

I can also add to this... My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.

A Cardiologist has stated that if each person after receiving this e-mail, sends it to 10 people, probably one life could be saved!

I have already shared this information. What about you?

Do forward this message. It may save lives!

Pioneering

When you pray, wait for the Lord.

This means to look for, to expect, and to hope in God. This isn't a passive state of mind, but one of expectancy.

Tell Him, "God, I have my hope in You.  I believe that You are working on my problems. I believe that You are making arrangements for my day.

You are posting angels all throughout my walk, everywhere along my path where You already know I am going to walk today.

Thank you, Lord, that You are a pioneer who has already gone before me and made a way for me to have a blessed day."

TRUST ME with every fiber of your being

TRUST ME with every fiber of your being!  What I can accomplish in and through you is proportional to how much you depend on Me.  One aspect of this the degree to which you trust Me in a crisis or major decision.  Some people fail miserably here, while others are at their best in tough times.  Another aspect is even more telling: the constancy of your trust in Me.  People who rely on Me in the midst of adversity may forget about Me when life is flowing smoothly.  Difficult times can jolt you into awareness of your need for Me, whereas smooth sailing can lull you into the stupor of self-sufficiency.

I care as much about your tiny trust-steps though daily life as about you dramatic leaps of faith.  You may think that no one notices, but the One who is always beside you sees everything  - rejoices.  Consistently trusting in Me is vital to flourishing in My Presence.

                                                                        PSALM 40:4, PSALM 56:3-4, PSALM 62:8, ISAIAH 26:3-4

1/18/2014

I AM YOUR REFUGE AND STRENGTH, an ever-present Help in trouble.  Therefore, you don’t need to be afraid of anything – not even cataclysmic circumstances.  The media are increasingly devoted to fear-including subject matter: terrorism, serial killers, environmental catastrophes.  If you focus on such dangers and forget that I am your Refuge in all circumstances, you will become increasingly fearful.  Everyday I manifest My grace in countless places and situations, but the media take no notice.  I shower not only blessings but also outright miracles on your planet.

As you closer to Me, I open your eyes to see more and more of My Presence all around you.  Things that most people hardly notice, like shifting shade of sunlight, fill you with heart-busting Joy.  You have eyes that see and ears that hear, so proclaim My abiding Presence in the world.

                                                                        PSALM 46:1-3, PSALM 89:15

Promises To Speak Over Your Life

>
> Promises To Speak Over Your Life
>
>
> Read: Psalm 147:1-5
>
> You're never more like God than when you help hurting people. One of our assignments in life is to help wipe away the tears. Are you sensitive to the needs of those around you? Your family? Your friends? Your neighbors? Your coworkers?
>
>
> Many times behind the pretty smile, behind the Sunday praise, there is a person who's hurting. She's alone. His life is in turmoil. When someone is struggling, reach out. Be a healer. Be a restorer.
>
>
> Take time to wipe away the tears. Your job is not to judge. Your job is not to figure out if someone deserves something, or to decide who is right or who is wrong. Your job is to lift the fallen, to restore the broken, and to heal the hurting.
>
>
> Too often we become focused on our own goals, our own dreams, and how we can get our miracle. But I've learned something that is more important: I can become someone's miracle. There is healing in your hands. There's healing in your voice. You are a container filled with God. Right now you are full of encouragement, full of mercy, full of restoration, full of healing. Everywhere you go you should dispense the goodness of God.
>
>
> If you get around me you'd better get ready. You will be encouraged. You may have made mistakes but I will tell you: God's mercy is bigger than any mistake you've made. You may have wasted years of your life making poor choices, but I will tell you God still has a way to carry you to your final destination.
>
>
> You may have had an addiction since you were a teenager. But I will let you know that the power of the Most High God can break any addiction and set you free. That's what it means to dispense good. You lift the fallen. You encourage the discouraged. You take time to wipe away the tears.
>
>
> Jesus told the story of the Good Samaritan who was riding his donkey and he saw a man on the side of the road beaten and left for dead. He put him on his donkey and took him to a place where he could recover. I love the fact that the Good Samaritan walked so the injured man could ride. Sometimes you may have to trade places with someone who is hurting. You must be willing to be inconvenienced.
>
>
> You may have to miss dinner in order to wipe away a tear. You may have to skip working out one night in order to encourage a struggling couple. You may have to drive across town and pick up a coworker who is addicted and take him to church with you on Sunday. If you want to live as a healer, you must be willing to change places with those who are hurting.
