Confess God's Provision

Confess God’s Provision

Ephesians 6:10

When your faith feels weak, ask God to show you how to pray. The Bible says plainly in Jude 1:20 and 1 Corinthians 14:2-4 that when you pray in the Holy Spirit, you edify yourself, which means you build yourself up on your most holy faith. Praying in the Holy Spirit causes you to make progress, and His leading will guard and keep you full of expectancy and patience for God’s mercy to bless your day. There is no excuse for anybody to drown in doubt and unbelief, when God has given us His Spirit to full us with faith through prayer and time spent in His presence. Today, start confessing what you have in God. Declare that your needs are met because the Word says so.

Keep Your Peace

1 Samuel 12:24

To have peace, keep your eyes on God. Get alone to fellowship with Him. If you have to get in a closet and sit in the middle of all your shoes and hang clothes over your head to hide in order to find solitude, do it! Then focus on all that God has done for you. Jesus said to go to your most private room when you pray to the Father, and He will reward you openly for the time you spend with Him. Don’t miss out on God’s abundant blessing for your life. (See Matthew 6:6)

Prepare to Love Others

Romans 13:12

Before your feet touch the floor in the morning, put on the full armor of God with which can quench all the fiery darts of the enemy (Ephesians 6:13-17). Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the readiness of the gospel of peace. Don’t let the devil steal your peace in the morning. Start talking to God before you even get out of bed. Tell Him,” I Love You, Lord, and I need Your help today. Please strengthen me to walk in the fruit of the spirit. Help me walk in love all day long. Help me to keep my thoughts on You Lord”.

Enjoy Confident Trust

Enjoy Confident Trust

1/31

Psalm 4:8

Some people feel their lives are an emotional mess, but they have a right to stability. There is stability, peace, and power in the presence of God. People don’t have to let their emotions control then; they can learn to dwell in the secret place of the Most High. The Word says, “He Who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust. That is why we should dwell in that place where we experience the presence of the Almighty.

Love God First

Love God First

1/27

Psalm 66:5NIV

We give attention to whatever we love the most. God wants to be first in our life. Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind”. This is the first and greatest commandment. You can’t afford not to spend time with God. Give Him your full attention, and make a point to observe all He is doing for you.

FW: START YOUR DAY RIGHT

God Will Keep You

1/26

Psalm 40:17

God has a plan for each of us, and the good things that happen to us are not just a coincidence. All good and perfect gifts come from God (see James 1:17) It is exciting to have a relationship with God when we are aware that He is careful leading and guiding us to His blessings.

If you don’t understand something the first time God speaks to you, He will give you another chance and will continue to teach you until you know clearly the way you should go. Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost (see Luke 19:10). This means that He will find you if you go astray.

Form Godly Habits

Form Godly Habits

Deuteronomy 11:18-21 NIV

Waiting for God’s direction each day is something you may have to make yourself do at first, but through practice, it will become natural to begin your day this way. New habits are formed by being consistent. Seeking God first in the morning will soon be something you can’t do without.

When God wanted His people to remember something, He told them to write it down. You may have to post reminders to seek the Lord around your house in order to follow through with your new intention. But be consistent to seek God first every day, and He will make your ways successful (see Joshua 1:17-9)

START YOUR DAY RIGHT

Crave God’s Presence

1/12

Isaiah 26:9

If we are hungry enough, we will get something to eat. And if we can’t eat before we leave home, we will go to a drive-thru at a fast- food restaurant, or we will call a place that delivers food to bring us something to eat.

If we are hungry enough for God, we will find a way into His presence. We should be so hungry for the presence of God that we absolutely will not go out of our house or tackle any kind of project until we have spent some time with Him.

Start Your Day Right

Happy MondayJ

Expect Something New

1/10

Psalm 5:3 NIV

If you get up and do the exact same thing every morning, you may get pretty bored after a month or so. But seeking God when you first wake up is never boring. He will always have a new revelation ready for you to hear.

Keep your expectation fresh by changing what you do in your time with God. You might worship the Lord with singing one morning, listen to Christian music another morning, read God’s Word the third morning, sit in His presence of confess His Word the following morning. Let the Holy Spirit lead you as you learn to enjoy starting your day with God.

START YOUR DAY RIGHT

Have a great weekendJ

Subject: START YOUR DAY RIGHT

Rejoice Today

1/7

1 Chronicles 16:10-12

Many people don’t realize how important the morning is, especially those first moments of time that we are awake. God calls the sun to rise for us. He is eager for us to wake up and talk to Him again.

David the psalmist talked a lot about morning, saying “This is the day that the Lord has made; I will rejoice and be glad in it” (see Psalm 118:24). David didn’t always feel like rejoicing, but he decided to rejoice in God’s new day.

As soon as you get up, look at yourself in the mirror, smile, and say, “I am going to have good day because Jesus loves me.

Start Out Joyfully

1/8

1 Chronicles 29:17-18

My husband always seems happy. Within five minutes of waking, he is humming, singing, or listening to music as he gets ready for the day. Years ago I didn’t want music on in the morning. I didn’t want singing or humming or noise of any kind. I wanted silence so I could think.

Today I still need a little more quiet than he does in the morning. But we have both found the way to start our day out right. We set our hearts and minds to follow God. And it works.

Listen for His Purpose

1/9

Psalm 25:12-14

It is God who wakes us each morning. If He didn’t keep us alive overnight, it wouldn’t matter what kind of an alarm clock we had! The prophet said, “God wakens me morning by morning, and He wakens me for a purpose so that I can hear; I am like a disciple who is taught” (see Isaiah 50:4).

Before you even get out of bed, listen to hear what God has to say to you. It will be a good day if you start it with a ready ear, taking time to listen to Him. God is eager to reveal today’s plan to you.

Get Rest

Get Rest

1/6

Psalm 17:15

Each evening the sun sets on all of our problems and on all of the mistakes we made that day. But something marvelous happens to us as we sleep – the Lord gives us rest physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are renewed and rejuvenated to face the next day.

Today we may wake up with the same problems we had when we went to bed, problems that yesterday we felt we just couldn’t take anymore. But somehow today, after proper rest and sleep, we think, I can do it; I can face it again.  God promises to renew our strength when we rest in Him.  It is a new day-and God's mercy is new every morning.

Avoid the Slingers

Avoid the Slingers

1/4

Psalm 63:1-3

There were people in the Bible called slingers who defeated their enemies by slinging stones and throwing dirt into their wells, contaminating their life source of water. (See 2 Kings 3:25) We all know people who sling accusation, judgment, criticism and faultfinding at others. We certainly don’t want slingers in our life, and we don’t want to become slingers either.

Don’t be a slinger who contaminates your own faith or the faith of those around you. Spending time with God will fill you with “Living water”. You will be edified and become a source of encouragement for others all day long.

Get in the Flow

Get in the Flow

1/5

Psalm 36:8-10

I have never been much of a swimmer. I may not be the best at fighting the current, but I can float. It is wonderful just to trust the water to keep us up and go with the flow. We can trust God to keep us afloat through the rapids and lead us to still waters.

The Bible says God’s mercy and loving kindness are “new every morning” (see Lamentations 3:22-23). His mercy isn’t just there waiting for us; it is new, fresh, flowing, and powerful every new day. We need to get in the flow of God’s river of life early each day and learn to float on the power of His presence.

YOUR BEST LIFE BEGINS EACH MORNING

Galatians 5:22-23

Fruit of the Spirit

People ask me, “Why do you always smile so much? Why are you so happy?” “I’m glad you asked! “I respond, and that opens the door for me to tell them about my relationship with God, and how they can have a relationship with Him as well.

Some guy stopped me on the street in New York City and said, “Hey, aren’t you that smiling preacher? I laughed and said, “I guess so. That’s me. I’m the smiling preacher.” I take that as a compliment. Yes, I’m guilty of being happy! I’m guilty of being excited about the future. That’s what it means to stay full of zeal. Stay on fire and aglow. Whatever you do, do it with enthusiasm!

Isaiah 1:19

A Satisfied Life

Notice, if we obey God and are willing to trust Him, we will have the best this life has to offer- and more! But God says we have to be willing to obey.

God doesn’t want you to drag through life defeated and depressed. No matter what you’ve been through, no matter whose fault it was, no matter how impossible your situation may look, the good news is that God wants to turn it around and restore everything that has been stolen from you. He wants to restore your marriage, your family, your career. He wants to restore those broken dreams. He wants to restore your joy and give you a peace and happiness you’ve never known before. Most of all, He wants to restore your relationship with Him. God wants you to live a satisfied life.

Ephesians 3:19

Total Victory

God is in the Long-Tern restoration business. He wants you to have a life filled with an abundance of joy and happiness. God doesn’t want you simply to survive that marriage. God wants to turn it around and restore you with a strong, healthy, rewarding relationship. God doesn’t want your business to merely make it through the murky economic waters. He wants your business to sail and to excel! When God restores, He has a vision of total victory for your life!

Hold on to that new enlarged vision of victory that God has given you. Start expecting things to change in your favor. Dare to boldly declare that you are standing strong against the forces of darkness. You will not settle for a life of mediocrity!

12/31

2 Timothy 1:6

Your Best Life Now

If you want to see God’s favor, do everything with your whole heart. Do it with passion and some fire. Give it your all. Not only will you feel better, but that fire will spread, and soon other people will want what you have. Wherever you are in life, make the most of it and be the best you can be.

Raise you level of expectancy. Stay passionate about seeing your dreams come to pass. It’s our faith that activates the power of God. Let’s quit limiting Him with our small minded thinking and start believing Him for bigger and better things. God will take you places you’ve never dreamed of, and you will be having your best life now.

Wishing you all a Blessed Life and New Year!!!!

Starting Your Day Right (SYDR)

Starting Your Day Right

By

Joyce Meyer

It is a new day-and God's mercy is new every morning.

You are fearfully and wonderfully made

Introduction

God wants you to enjoy your life. Jesus said, “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it over-flow)” (John 10:10). Your days can be filled with an overflowing joy that will spill into the lives of others. You can experience this joy all day if you learn to start your day right-by spending time with God, reading His Word, praying, and listening for His direction.

Listening to God each morning fills you with expectancy and favor for a better day, and those days add up to a better life. The Lord wants you to have Him clearly in sight in order to follow Him. He is willing to wake you in the morning and make your ear alert to His instruction. If you will seek Him with all your heart, He will renew your strength and make clear your path (see Isaiah 40:31; Proverbs 3:6).

I have written this book to remind you of the benefits of starting your day with God. It is not written to replace your personal time with Him, but simply to enhance it and to point you to your own daily encounter with Him so that you will enjoy every day of your life. He will teach you to balance out your extremes, gain self-control, and live in a way that has a positive impact on others. I encourage you to seek God early each morning and to wait on Him to write in your spirit, direction for the day. God will fill your heart with knowledge that will enlighten you at the right time. Once your experience the empowerment of beginning your day with God, you will never want to start your day without Him.

May this uplift your spirit and day.

Start Your Day Right

1/1

Psalm 94:18

Some people seem to start their day on the “wrong foot.” They feel all right when they wake up, but as soon as something goes wrong, they lose their footing and walk with a “loser’s limp” the rest of the day. Once they are off to a bad start, it seems the never catch up.

If someone offends us early in the morning, our anger can keep us defensive all day. If we start the day rushing, it seems we never slow down. But today our feet can be firmly planted in God’s Word. There will be no “bad day” when God’s Word supports, strengthens, and directs us.

Get Up and Get Going

1/2

Psalm 6:6, 8

Even before we are totally awake, Satan is bidding to deceive us and is ready to plant defeating thoughts in our mind. He wants us to be hopeless, faithless, and negative. He definitely doesn’t want us to be positive when we get up. He wants us to have a bad attitude and be selfish and self-centered, full of hatred, bitterness, resentment, doubt, unbelief, and fear -   to be mad at everybody.

But thank God, through Jesus Christ, we have been redeemed from all of those negative patterns. We can resist the devil and trust God’s power in order to live victoriously today.

Keep in Touch with God

1/3

Psalm 1:1-2

Keep in touch with God today; stay tuned to His voice. You may have a plan for the day, but God may lead you in a totally different direction if you are sensitive to the Holy Ghost. Be brave enough to flow with what you feel in your heart God wants you to do.

Today is going to be a good day. Listen for the voice of God to lead you. Be determined to walk in the Spirit and stay in the flow of God’s leading today.

Thinking of you

I HAD A FRIEND VISIT THIS MORNING.

HE ARRIVED EARLY, SAT DOWN WITH ME. WE CHATTED FOR A WHILE ABOUT HOW THINGS WERE CURRENTLY GOING FOR ME IN MY LIFE.

AFTER VERY CAREFULLY AND COMPASSIONATELY
LISTENING TO ALL THAT I HAD TO SAY,HE STOOD UP, WALKED OVER TO ME, LEANED OVER AND GENTLY HELD ME FOR AWHILE.

THEN, AFTER REASSURING ME NOT TO WORRY, THAT EVERYTHING WOULD WORK OUT FOR ME
AND BE JUST FINE, HE ASKED ME IF I KNEW OF ANYONE ELSE THAT COULD USE A VISIT FROM HIM.

I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF YOU.

I GAVE HIM YOUR NAME AND HE KNEW WHERE YOU LIVED. HE GAVE ME ANOTHER REASSURING HUG, THANKED ME AND I WALKED WITH HIM TO MY FRONT DOOR. HE TOLD ME THAT HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO YOUR PLACE.

When He gets to your PC, escort Him to the next stop. Please don't allow Him to sleep on your PC. The message He is carrying is very important. I asked him to bless you and yours with peace, happiness and abundance.

Say a prayer and then pass Him on to bless others as I sent him on to bless you. Our assignment is to spread love, respect and kindness throughout the world.

Have a blessed day and touch somebody's life today as hopefully I have touched your life.

He's walking around the world via e-mail!!

Please pass it on so He can get there....

When you forward this on, please list where he departed from in the subject box as I did

Believe on [rely upon] the Lord Jesus Christ . . . whoever believes on Me shall not perish but have everlasting life;. . .if you confess with your mouth, the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart man believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.[from God's love letter to humankind, the Holy Scriptures.]

This Year and all of 2011

These are too good not to shareJ

12/26

Psalm 4:7

Give It Your All

Paul encouraged his young coworker Timothy to "fan the flame and stir up the gift that is within you". Paul was reminding his understudy to live with enthusiasm. Give it your all. Don't settle for mediocrity. Stir yourself up; rekindle that fire.

You may have to live or work around people who are prone to being negative, who tend to drag you down. But don't let their lack of enthusiasm squelch your passion. If you live with a deadbeat spouse, make a decision that you're going to be happy and enthusiastic anyway. If your parents are always negative, try to overcome that negativity by being positive, encouraging and uplifting. Fan your flame more than usual to make sure the fire doesn't go out.

12/27

1 John 5:4

Stay on Fire

Do you want your life to make an impact this morning? You can change the atmosphere of your home or your entire office with a little bit of enthusiasm. Choose to be happy; live with excellence and integrity, and put a spring in your step. Put a smile on your face, and let the world know that you are enjoying the life God has given you!

When everybody else is down and defeated, when you are all alone with nobody nearby to encourage you, simply encourage yourself. Your attitude should be: It doesn't matter what anybody else does or doesn't do, I'm going to live my life with enthusiasm! I'm going to stay on fire. I'm going to be aglow. I'm going to be passionate about seeing my dreams come to pass.
