Psalm 51:6
Focus on speaking words in faith today; keep your confession truthful but positive. Don’t deny the existence of your circumstances, but confess what God’s Word has to say about your situation.
For example, if you are sneezing, coughing, and finding it difficult to breath, it isn’t truthful to say you aren’t sick. But you can learn to present a negative situation in a positive way. You can say, “I believe God’s healing power is working in me, and that I am getting better all the time.”
This website is a compilation of motivational poems, clip art, chain letters, prayers, musings, mother wit and wisdom that I accumulate from friends, family, collegues and perfect strangers via the Internet.

How God Moves
Read Quietly Then Send It Back On Its Journey

To realize
The value of a sister/brother
Ask someone
Who doesn't have one.
To realize
The value of ten years:
Ask a newly
Divorced couple.
To realize
The value of four years:
Ask a graduate.
To realize
The value of one year:
Ask a student who
Has failed a final exam.
To realize
The value of nine months:
Ask a mother who gave birth to a stillborn..
To realize
The value of one month:
Ask a mother
Who has given birth to
A premature baby.
To realize
The value of one week:
Ask an editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize
The value of one minute:
Ask a person
Who has missed the train, bus or plane.
To realize
The value of one-second:
Ask a person
Who has survived an accident.
Time waits for no one.
Treasure every moment you have.
You will treasure it even more when
You can share it with someone special.
To realize the value of a friend or family member:
LOSE ONE.
The origin of this letter is unknown,
But it brings good luck to everyone who passes it on.
Remember....
Hold on tight to the ones you love!
Do not keep this letter.
Send it to friends & family to whom you wish good fortune
And don't forget the one who sent it to you!

A Story to Live By
There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind.
She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend....
He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend,
'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.'
One day,
someone donated a pair of eyes to her.
When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything,
including her boyfriend.
He asked
her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?'
The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind.
The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her.
She hadn't expected that.
The thought of looking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him..
Her boyfriend left in tears and days later wrote a note to her saying:
'Take good care of your eyes, my dear,
for before they were yours, they were mine.'
This is how the human brain often works when our status changes .
Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who
was always by their side in the most painful situations.
Life Is a Gift
Today before you say an unkind word -
Think of someone who can't speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food -
Think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife -
Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion.
Today before you complain about life -
Think of someone who died too early on this earth..
Before you complain about your children -
Think of someone who desires children but they're barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house someone didn't clean or sweep -
Think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive
Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.
And when you are tired and complain about your job -
Think of the unemployed, the disabled,
and those who wish they had your job.
But before you think of pointing the finger or condemning another -
Remember that not one of us is without sin .
And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down -
Put a smile on your face and think:
you're alive and still around.
