This is YOU

-----O
I like you because of
Who you are to me...
A true friend.

And if I
don't get this
Back I'll take the hint.

Tonight
at midnight
Your true love will
Realize they like you

Something
good will
Happen to you at
1:00-4:00 PM
Tomorrow.

It could be anywhere
-- at home, Yahoo, outside
Of work, anywhere.

Get ready for the
Biggest shock of
Your life.

Please
send to 5
People in 5 minutes.

Remember:

'A good friend will
Come bail you
Out of jail....

But a true friend will
Be sitting next to you
Saying we screwed
up, but we had fun!

Proud
To Be
Your Friend!

Make
sure you read
All the way down to
The last sentence,
And don't skip ahead.

I've learned..
That life is like a
Roll of toilet paper.
The closer it gets

To the end, the
Faster it goes.

I've learned
That we should be
Glad God doesn't
Give us everything

We ask for

I've learned
That money doesn't
Buy class

I've learned...that it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.

I've learned...
That under everyone's
Hard shell is someone
Who wants to be
Appreciated
And loved.

I've learned...
That the Lord didn't
Do it all in one day
What makes me

Think I can?

I've learned...
That to ignore the
Facts does not
Change the facts.

I've learned.....
That the less time
I have to work,
The more things
I get done.

To all of you.... Make
Sure you read all the
Way down to the
Last sentence...

It's National
Friendship Week.

Show your friends
How much you care.

Send this to everyone
You consider a FRIEND!

Even if it means sending
It back to the person
Who sent it to you.

If it comes back to you,
Then you'll know you
Have a circle of friends.

HAPPY

YOU ARE MY FRIEND
AND I AM HONORED.

Have a Glad Heart

Have a Glad Heart

3/29

Proverbs 12:14

I used to live with an ongoing sense of dread until I asked God to show me what was wrong. He spoke the words “evil forebodings,” and then showed me His Word concerning this subject: “All the days of the desponding and afflicted are made evil [by anxious thoughts and forebodings], but he who has a glad heart has a continual feast [regardless of circumstances]” (Proverbs 15:15).

Anxious thoughts make the day evil. If you expect to have a dismal day, you will be unpleasant yourself. Evil forebodings ruin the day, but faith makes the heart glad and brings miraculous results. If you want to have a good day, raise your expectations to be in line with God’s Word.

Pray before Answering

Pray before Answering

3/21

Romans 15:18

The Father has sent to us a Counselor- the Spirit of Truth- who teaches us all things (see John 14:16, 17, 26). As we stay sensitive to God’s leading, He will direct us. If we pray before speaking, the Lord will keep us from overcommiting our time, and from misleading people.

Jesus took time to listen to the Father before speaking, God will also give us “a word in due season” for somebody (see Proverbs 15:23), if we listen for His input before we give what we may think is a right answer. God will give us the right words to say if we expectantly listen for His direction before we speak.

Psalm 27:4

Psalm 27:4

When I first became a Christian, I didn’t desire to pray as much as I do now. Although I do spend time with God every morning, I also spend time with Him all day. It seems that I walk in prayer.

In her powerful book, Experiencing God through Prayer, Madame Guyon says there is a difference between praying to God and experiencing Him. At first you must discipline yourself to pray, but eventually you will give yourself to the ocean of God’s love, and experience His continual presence.

God Gives Us All We Need

God Gives Us All We Need

3/28

Psalm 9:10

In His Word God has given us the tools we need to help us through each new day. He has given us “the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness” (Isaiah 61:3 KJV). So, when you wake up in the morning, decide that no matter what happens, you will not be depressed today.

Put on the garment of praise first thing in the morning. Listen to worshipful music, read the Word, and renew your thoughts to bring them into line with what God says you are---righteous and blessed. You can think right, talk right, and act right all day, if you spend time with God before trials come your way.

WHAT'S THE MEANING OF LIFE?

WHAT’S THE MEANING OF LIFE?

(Hint: It’s in everyday things.)

We asked Katrina Kenison, author of the book The Gift of an Ordinary Day, for advice on learning to treasure our daily lives, and she responded, “John Lennon said, ‘Life is what happens when we're busy making other plans.’ The only moment we have is the moment that is right now. And yet the present moment is so easy to miss, especially if we're distracted, regretting something that happened yesterday, or already thinking about tomorrow. When my best friend was diagnosed, out of the blue, with cancer, I realized how lucky I was to be blessed with my own perfectly ordinary day, the kind of day she would have given anything to have back again. When we pause long enough to be grateful for what is, we realize that every ordinary day is a gift, and suddenly, instead of taking our lives for granted, we begin to appreciate the beauty of everyday things.”

"Make today so beautiful it will be worth remembering"

make it a habit

Make It a Habit

3/23

Romans 13:11

The Word says that Jesus had a habit of going up the mountain to spend time with God. Luke 22:39 says, “And He came out and went, as was His habit, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples also followed Him”. Jesus formed a habit of communication with God every morning.

It has been said that if you do something consistently for thirty days, it will become a habit. You can either make or break a habit by consistently doing the same thing. Follow Jesus, and form a habit of starting your day with prayer.

I'm a Kept Woman

A Kept Woman

I Am a 'Kept ' Woman

You see, there were a few times when I thought I would lose my mind,
But GOD
kept me sane. (Isa. 26:3)
There were times when I thought I could go no longer,

But the LORD
kept me moving. (Gen 28:15)
At times, I've wanted to lash out at those whom I felt had done me wrong,

But the LORD
kept my mouth shut.. (Psa. 13)
Sometimes, I think the money just isn't enough,

But GOD has helped me to
keep the lights on, the water on, the car paid, the house paid, etc.., (Matt. 6:25 -34)
When I thought I would fall, HE
kept me up.
When I thought I was weak, HE
kept me strong! (I Pet. 5:7, Matt. 11:28-30)
I could go on and on and on, but I'm sure you hear me!

I'm blessed to be '
kept '
Do you know a '
kept ' woman?
If so pass it on to her to let her know she is '
Kept '
I'm
"Kept" by the Love and Grace of God.

Have a Blessed Week!  Let's keep encouraging one another!

Break Free from Bondages

Break Free from Bondages

3/22

Psalm 69:32

If it is still hard to start your day right, pray this prayer:

“Lord, I struggle in taking time to fellowship with You and read Your Word. I know that spending time with You is not a law, it is a privilege. It is something that benefits my life. I pray that the bondages, the lies of Satan that keep me out of the prayer closet and away from time with You, will be broken off of me. “Help me to see clearly that this is something I must do to live in victory. I pray for an anointing that will draw me into Your presence and cause me to run after You. Help me to get every morning started right”.

Through the Fire

Joel

Through the Fire

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“...We went through fire and flood, but You brought us to a place of abundance”
(Psalm 66:12, NLT)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

In scripture, three Hebrew teenagers, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, were told to bow down to the king’s idol or they would be thrown into a fiery furnace. They said, “No, King. We’re not going to bow down. We know our God will deliver us.” Their attitude was, “We’re not worried about it. We know we have inside information. We know everything is going to be alright.” Notice they didn’t fight it. They weren’t upset. They weren’t complaining. They were at peace. They knew God Almighty had His hand upon them. The guards threw them into the fiery furnace, and when all was said and done, they came out without even the smell of smoke on them!

Notice that God didn’t deliver them from the fire; He delivered them through the fire. Maybe you are going through the fire today. Know that God is with you. He’s doing a work in you, and He’s displaying His glory through you. Remember, on the other side of the fire is a place of abundance and blessing! Stand strong and see the fulfillment of the promises He has in store for you!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Father in heaven, thank You for delivering and saving me. I stand strong no matter what I may be facing, knowing that You are with me. Thank You for protecting me through the fire and for leading me to the place of abundance and blessing You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

START MOVING/LOVE NOT SLEEP

Start Moving

Psalm 103:1-5

Proverbs 6:4 says, “Give not [unnecessary] sleep to your eyes, nor slumber to your eyelids.” The Bible is saying, “Get the sleep you need, but then wake up!” Too much sleep brings poverty. It is like a robber who steals from you and makes you helpless. (See Proverbs 6:11).

Too little sleep will ruin your day too. Being tired and cranky doesn’t help you hear from God. Make rest a priority, but then get up. Start moving first thing in the morning, saying, “Thank You Lord, that I am alive for another day with You. I believe I am anointed to do what You ask me to do today. My youth is renewed like the eagles just as You promised.”

Love Not Sleep

Psalm 119:148

It is interesting that our popular greeting is “Good Morning”. Somewhere along the way, someone realized that if we get started off right in the morning, we will have a good day.

Proverbs 20:13 says, “Love not sleep, lest you come to poverty; open your eyes and you will be satisfied with bread” And Psalm 57:8-9 encourages us to wake up ready to sing praises: Awake, my glory (my inner self); awake, harp and lyre! I will awake right early [I will awaken the dawn]! I will praise and give thanks to You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing praises to You among the nations.”

Stand and See

TODAY’S SCRIPTURE

“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today...the LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still”
(Exodus 14:13–14, NIV)

TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria

In the Bible, when the people of Israel came out of slavery and were headed toward the Promise Land, they were so happy to be finally free! But then Pharaoh changed his mind about letting them go and came chasing after them. They came to a dead end at the Red Sea and things looked impossible. Instead of staying in faith and focusing on the fact that God had delivered them before, the Israelites got upset, fearful and started complaining, “Moses, why did you bring us out here to die?” Moses replied, “Stand still and you will see the deliverance of the Lord.” He went on to say, “The Lord will fight for you if you hold your peace and remain at rest.” And the Lord was faithful to His Word and delivered them again.

Moses knew he had to get the people out of that negative mentality or they would be defeated, and the same is true for you. You may be in a storm of life, but don’t let that storm get in you. Instead, set your focus on God because He is faithful, and He will fight your battles. Stay calm and remain in peace today because God is going to deliver you and lead you into your promise land!

A PRAYER FOR TODAY

Thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness in my life. Help me keep my heart and mind focused on You. No matter what storm I may be facing, I trust that You are working behind the scenes and ordering my steps to the promise land you have for me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
